What a 100mph fastball is really like up close.

I've been in the box against the ProBatter at 100mph. Yeah, I hit a few. Like Reggie said: "I can pull a 747 if you tell me it's coming". 100mph ain't no thing if it's straight.

the problem with these machines is they screw up your timing..thats why you rarely see the pros use this crap...at least the iron mike lets you see the arm comming at you but they cant really crank it fast enough to throw 90 plus..so you move up to about 50 feet BUT then that defeats the purpose.

I'm pretty sure that machine, called the ProBatter, doesn't suck. Just because you can't hit off of it does not mean it's the machine's fault. People that say they throw 85 and hit off of 85 say this is not real because they most likely don't throw and hit off of 85.

played baseball 8 years and it was THE game for me and pitched ,,it's ALL together different when your'e in th batters box ,,the pitchers looks about 3' taller than you on that mound ,,then here it comes.In a major league game [little league] a pitcher from Stoutsville Ohio, Radcliff was his last name ,,,WOW could that EVER smoke a ball past you!!!!!!!!!!

I hated how sportzone used to have that in their batting cages. Then they realized it suck and they took it down.

I don't see understand how it's a problem. Now if the release point and the hole are off a split second assuming you can get to it. That is different and could always be fixed. But as far as arm SPEED. If you ever faced a big league pitcher throwing that hard or any speed.You would know that having same fluid arm action is what in fact makes you a legit big pitcher. Dont matter how you hard throw at that level if you can recognize what's coming.Arod says it makes him compete though. Yanks have 5

The big problem is the arm speed of the guy doesnt match up with the ball
