  • Beautifully done and that tuning is the one I like the best by miles. Why did Keef change, so much more blues in open D or E. The stones could have been cosmic rather than becoming a much lesser more repetitive rock band. Those early songs ... Wow

  • I think you know this and just made a mistake but if you're tuned to Open E and capo the 8th then your open strum is actually a C. But this sounds great and I agree it sounds like the old stuff. If you watch recent Stones concert footage it seems that nowadays Kieth plays this in Open G capoed at the fifth - again giving you a C with a little different timbre.

  • great cover !

  • Nice Glad that u'r having a go with the singing too (and no sign of a backing track!)

  • yeah!! great cover man!

  • hi

    great job

    is this a acoustic guitar?

  • @52692669 "Is this a acoustic guitar?" I'm afraid that whatever way I answer that question I will sound like a jerk so I won't answer at all.

  • You forgot the bridge . .

Of all the versions Keith plays, my favorite is when they play the bridge.

  • nice guitar, nice voice , amazing cover

  • your guitar is too loud, any idea how to get the same sound which is played in the original. btw very good.

    What guitar are u playing?

  • It's all perfect...even the hair.

  • are you from New york?

  • This what i call a cover.

    Whats your playing history

  • @archambault65 With a capo on the fifth fret, I believe that's in Open G tuning. That's what I've heard at least.

  • I saw Keith play it in open G with a capo on the 5th fret, but it sounds just as effective in open E.

  • Don't worry about it

  • mutya buena

  • brilliant.

  • yep ! xtra ! I do it in ordinary C F but this is something else. .must be the first Stones song I did, like 40 years agooooooo !

one thing you're lucky for, obviously no neighbours; I must soft -finger pick away, and hush my voice ; pity !

    with love , Jacques

  • That guitar is extradinary. What type of strings and pick are you using? I almost feel sorry for that microphone. That thing will definitely cut through the mix. How do you like your Marshall acoustic amp?

  • Fantastic. Simply amazing.

  • GREAT cover - possibly the best on the site. Keep it up. I always enjoy your work.

The bobcat and the crow/raven in the backgroud are icing on the cake.

  • Amazing mate

  • I'm afraid this guy is going to hit me with his guitar if i play it wrong.

  • @Dai3eb

He's like Joe from Family Guy but with legs. And a mad Brooklyn Mafia enforcer's accent ;-)

    "Eyyyyy Tony! Dis guy's a f**kin mook"

(No disrespect intended, obviously. I don't want to end up at the bottom of the Hudson in concrete boots)

  • The guitar sounds friggin awesome. One thing tho: dont try to reach that high. Sometimes I do it myself and then i notice it sounds horrible. Very nice overall performance ;)
