i have that exact tank 20 gl long for 2 leopard he uses a 75 wt that is going to exceede 100 degrese for 8 or 12 hrs is going to dry the tank up i use 50 wt night light and it hit 90 degrees on the dot doesnt go over i use it only in the morning its mainly for heat and the sun is light it turns on when the sun comes up only for 2 or 3 hrs till i wake to turn air off my room gets cold at night and it bring the temp down a little from the night i have a heat pad on the opposite side from light
@soon2b09 i kinda just said that u nee a heat mat. u do need a heat lamp in order for the animal to get the right heat. uv provides vitamin d3 which is vital for youre leopard gecko. a heat bulbs not opional. this video is not useless.
@soon2b09 for youre information you do need a heat lamp. a heat mat is not for supplementle heating of the caaige, but just to provide belly heat. in order for to gain the right temperatures, you need a heat lamp. i really hope u dont have a leopard gecko becasue you really dont know what youre talkin about
You failed to mention an important part: hides. They should have at least two dry hides (one for each side of the temperature gradient), and a moist one to help with shedding and staying hydrated.
ok video. the uv is useless they will probably come out less with it in the day time, i keep my red lights on all day and night so they come out more during the day(they can't see red).. you don't really need all that much for leos..again it was a good video
i have a doubt, is it really neceary to buy a heat spotlight? even if the zone where i live use to be warm?
