Hi..Thank for post the solution but what is the fan driver?, Where can I download this?...I install the bios and later the fan driver?..thank so much and sorry for my poor english...
There is no fan driver. I was talking about the video card driver. You can download and reinstall the Toshiba video card drivers from their site or you can do a windows update and it should give you a fairly recent driver that was released a few days ago.
Well I don't own a Toshiba, but I have Vista Ultimate x64, and my games now stutter. They never did this with my XP Pro x64. And I cannot figure out what the problem really is. A lot of my games run better as far as FPS goes but it skips constantly. IE: Spiderman: WoS now skips non-stop and so does Wolfenstein '09. These are the only 2 I've installed so far and does this. Is it maybe a problem with DX10?
Maybe, but that's not the problem exhibited here. The Nvidia 7 series does not support DirectX 10 so that cant be the issue here. Although Halo 2 PC is Vista exclusive it only runs on a DirectX 9 engine.
my halo 2 stutters also i got 5 gigs of ram quadcore 2.2 and a geforce 9300 i run fraps it says im getting 50 fps but it stutters to its inplayable anyone know how to fix?
I have the new toshiba satellite x205-sli1 with two 256mb nvidia 8600 gt graphics cards, 2gigs of ram and a 2.0ghz dual core processor. I've noticed the same problems when I try to play crysis and yes, toshiba is behind on their drivers. called in about it, and the first thing that pissed me off, was that they sent the call to india and I had a hard ass time trying to figure out what he was saying to me, then he told me some bullshit about how they update by quarterly.
I had the same problem with my p100-347 when I upgraded to Vista Home Premium but like u said after the bios and video card update it is solved... thank f@ck for that... Toshiba are proper slowpokes...
Nope. I've called Toshiba countless times and they tell me nothing. The nearest Certified Toshiba repair Depot is 130 Miles away from where I live. To drive there and come back then go pick it up and come back, i just dont have the time. Plus they keep it for weeks and school is about to start.
My GPU and CPU temps are fine. My CPU is better than most mobile ones out there. T7200 C2D 2.0Ghz 4MB cache. I'm using the latest drivers as of right now from nvidia (modding the INF to install them) and I still get the stuttering.
man i wish i knew about this b4i have a i bought the computer lappy toshitty p105 (ultimate stuttering weapon) neither nvidia and toshiba have realese any info or driver support for this whyyyyyyyy???????????????
You're retarded... toshiba p100 and p105 models that come with vista all have this stuttering problem when watching movies and playing games. The only solution is to downgrade the bios to fix it.. but the newer models don't allow you to do that.
I'm using one right now and I'm going to get rid of vista and install xp because some people claim that works.. and if it doesn't im getting a refund.
Solution does not work on S9337 S9339 models because the 2.40 bios does not have those models included. Yes, windows XP runs perfectly on this laptop and all games run full speed and beautifully. This problem only occurs in Vista.
Actually guys i Doubt it's the HDD. This happens in EVERY game or 3d application (including videos). The only solution right now is to install Windows XP. In XP this issue is nonexistant. I can play all games at high setting, native res, etc. Only thing that bothers me is that I'm forced to use Vista to play Halo 2
you guys just need to install the beta drivers and its flawless.. if your using a GO_7900GS which is for a laptop download the updated driver at guru3d dot com and search for forceware vista 97.35 x86 (laptop) this is the name of the updated driver. It works!!

Don't you have a shop nearby who can help you with this problem?

I think you're card is to hot because you're FPS is good. Or you're CPU is not good enough. Otherwise update you're drivers.
