I saw this film last night at Grauman's Chinese Theater for the TCM Movie Festival, and it was a fantastic experience. Older films oftentimes get strange comments from the audience, but not this one...Well, there was one when James Mason tells Judy her face is "just dandy!" Certain phrases do change in 60 years! Martin Landau sat in front of me, and he seemed completely engrossed in the film, and was moving in rhythm to the wonderful songs, especially "My Mammy" when Judy sang that song!
Judy's greatest performence. A performence that no live actress can ever perform.
