I just saw them in Denver, and Laetitia mentioned the Minneapolis show to the crowd, saying that after Monade finished playing, lots of people started leaving, thinking they had just seen Stereolab and that the show was over. Ha! Yes, Monade was GREAT and Stereolab was brilliant as usual.
I actually was not familiar with Monade prior to this very show. I bought the album at 'The Love Garden' in Lawrence, KS, the day I went to the show. During the drive to Denver, I became familiar with 'Monstre Cosmique,' and I'm glad I did. Laeticia is my favorite female musician at the moment.
