I just bought the game, and is very nice, I love the split screan, but have a question though, I can only have it horizontal, and I have seen other videos in youtube with the vertical splitt screan, do you have any idea on how to do this?? I don't find the horizontal/vertical option in the setings, thanks in advance.
Im sorry im confused i know im late but this game seems good. and im looking for an offline splitscreen because my dad likes to play. offline i noe is not online but is this taken from the same tv. like is your friend sitting beside you in the same room. cuz i heard some games have private offline matches but you play on seperate tvs and seperate machines yet its still split screen. sorry just curious
MotorStorm Pacific Rift can be played offline with splitscreen. 2, 3 or 4 players can play on the very same PS3. The only thing you need are additional controllers and a big TV. In online gameplay you have a normal "full-screen" without any splitting. So this game should fit your needs. And it is quite cheap by now.
ahhhh thank you. we live in japan (we are canadian tho) thank god for AMAZON! lol. im getting modern warfare 2 and uncharted 2 and the ps3 bluetooth, my dads getting this game well my dads getting all these games but racing games are his favs. cuz they are easy you noe what i mean lol. but this one looks fun.
Yes, it is for PS3 only. If you live in the USA, you can buy the recent Qore episode 4 and download it there. EU fellows can get it for free if they are lucky and receive a promotion mail from Sony. So check your mail, maybe you got a code if you live in the right region. If not... maybe a friend of yours might share his Demo with you.

It is fun but easy... well, you'll have to try on your own. This game can be quite challenging, especially the offline campaign.
Uncharted 2 is an extraordinary superb game, as well. You will have alot of fun with all three titles for sure. Well-chosen.

I captured the video in Standard Definition (SD). In High Definition (HD) the screen is splitted vertically on my system, as well.
I am from Europe too btw. :)
