Thanks for the comment. you know there are days that I wish I still had my little Rebel.. It was such a fun bike. don't get me wrong... I love my Shadow ACE... but that Rebel was a hoot !!
Great video. Thank you. Helps the folks that have a 250 and want a little better sound. For the folks with bigger bikes, I know it aint a that loud. But guess what I get 70 MPG. LOL Thanks
Ya I know their your friends sorry , I recently got my rebel but still don't know wether to get these pipes or save a bit and get jardines. Btw what kind of saddle bags do YOU have?the ones I have are really small n annoying
I really don't have the answer for you. If you read the info or listened to the video you would realize that the slip on pipes are NOT on my bike, but rather on my friend Qutless's bike.
Read the info to see how to ask him those questions.
What's the difference between these n the jardines I don't hear a difference , might as well buy these for 80$ but then again jardines for 300$ must be good quality so.....I need help choosing
All you have to do is cut of the ends and rip out the baffle and innards (if there are any) inside. That's the way mine is (previous idiot owner did that) and mine sounds like that second bike. Just this week I sprayed mine from chrome to high heat black, and cut the ends off nice and filed all the barbs off with a set of steel hand files. For some really shot out 23 year old pipes, they look nice with a fresh black coat of paint, considering.
Did you install this exhaust or did you have it done? Would a Dremel cut the old exhaust off? Does the new mufflers come with installation directions? Also, 'Chopper Rob' said you can't find a 15 tooth sprocket for the Rebel. So where did you guys get them? Thanks for responding Greg.
First of all, you can find a 15 tooth sprocket at several outlets on the web. First look up Jack's Rebel Warehouse on the web. give Jack a call and tell him I said hello. He can get you the sprocket.
Secondly, It was not my Rebel but rather my friend Keve's who had the new mufflers. so any questions about them should be directed at him. you can go to his you tube site at;
i think hes talking about the side plate thing idk what it is on that bike?there different on all bikes on harleys its the oil tank, on my roadstar the side plates hide the battery
A little more complex than just a couple of bolts on the Rebel.. you have to cut the old ones off... then... I believe it is a matter of a couple of bolts.
Hey get the 15 tooth front sprocket too.. you will love it.. no more angry bees at 60mph on the highway as its not revving so much and first gear goes more than 10 feet.. You wont' find one for a Rebel - I have the part number somewhere.. -Chopper Rob

Do these fit on a 05' 250 rebel
CmoreBuhts 11 months ago
And what's the difference between a 450 rebel or 250 rebel, size? Speed? And do jardines or the pipes from the video fit on either one?

This may be Jardine pipes. About $300 on Ebay.
I have no ID about bikes, but I'm thinking to get me a Rebel soon. I like the Yamaha virago250 as weel, it looks a little taller.
arloyola 2 years ago
