I would trade an untold amount of my possessions to have socom 2 re-released and have a thriving community or at least have a Socom 5 come out and be basically a socom 2. Bring back frost fire, crossroads, desert glory and abandoned. Graphically idgaf. Other maps? Idgaf. Bring back the core gameplay and some classic maps. Oh and package it with a MIC. While you're at it force people to USE it lol

I remember what REAL teamwork felt like, and it felt so good when your team takes it to another. A win was much more gratifying on this game than any of these COD copies. No regenerating health, 1 open channel at a time, 1 life per round and you had better make it count. I want that uncertainty feeling you got at the beginning of a round and grenades are exploding all around you, stay low and you might make it.

Socom 3 and CA didn't ruin the game they added to it making it better. SOCOM CA was the best in the socom series, It included both small and big. Socom 2 maps in socom ca was amazing. Confrontation fucked it up.
well the series really started going downhill beginning with socom 3 and the addition of vehicles. socom 1 and 2 were mainly about gun skill and 3 changed that. socom 4 is a joke I don't even know what to say about it. I like call of duty too it's a solid game on it's own but it didn't kill socom, zipper killed socom by losing touch with their core. all socom 2 needed was a few tweaks to be nearly perfect. as for socom conf isnt bad the maps are just too big. we needed 8v8 not 16v16 wtf zipper.
