I was at this show last summer. I always resented afterward the fact that i didn't properly appreciate incident at the time, it wasn't quite on my radar as a 17 year old, fairly new to bruce springsteen.
Luckily, he played it again two weeks ago at the Izod arena, and i was there. Singing along to every word this time. Feel very lucky to have seen it twice in just four shows since 2008, when many hardcore springsteen fans have been chasing this song for years.
sigh...* life aint fair... did get lost in the flood however last weekend in Stockholm. Never expected that too happen. Very nice. But incident would've topped it
Now THERES a song i've wanted to see for a very long time. In fact, i missed a performance of it last year by one show. Kinda miffed about that. Hopefully he'll play it at one of these giants stadium shows this autumn, im goin to two of them.
My dad was the guy who held up the sign "Play Incident on 57th Street for your old bald fans." That was an amazing song. I've seen him 13 times (only 16 years old) and always wanted to see this live. Amazing. Oh, and Jungleland to start the encore was simply brilliant.
This was absolutely beautiful!!! He poured his soul into this. I've always loved this song and could not stop playing it when I got home, singing "good night its all right, Jane" over and over! Although I had REALLY bad seats, I had an awesome time and this song was the highlight of my night! I even made a sign for him to play it at Hershey, but he didn't. We did get Thunder Road though!!!
i was there too and love this song so much. i was disappointed too that he didnt sing thunder road but he sang every other song i had been dying to hear live that i hadnt yet like "because the night" and "rosalita" and "tenth avenue" and "prove it all night" and "spirit in the night" and "light of day" and "blinded by the light" and "candy's room" and "jungleland". what an amazing show. it was like he took all the songs that are rare and special to him and put them all in one concert
I've seen Bruce about 10 times and who knows whether or not I'm gonna get the chance to see them again, but this is how I choose to remember my experiences of his concerts. This performance is absolutely top notch. Thanks for posting this.

One reason it's kinda hard to catch is he didn't play it for 19 years - from 1980 until 1999.

For fellow Boss fans that have seen him 1 or 500 times, this was the greatest performance of Incident I have ever seen and i'm at 200+ shows.
