There are 613 laws in the old testament and one of them is against killing an innocent man. Which means this Jesus had to be guilty of breaking one of the jewish laws and thus could not be perfect as is claimed.

Naive as I may come across, I've heard this argument about laws, but apparently Jesus himself interpreted the OT laws and specifically the commandments, explaining that he would not be satisfiying old customs but causing problems because of clarifications on the old laws. @PastorIblis without reading the passage I know what Christ meant, as I understand it in my own life eg. if I lust after another woman the consequence of that is so disastrous for so many people that it would be better for me to lose that roving eye, than to curse my life, never mind what would wait for me in the afterlife. Christ spoke of many physical, wordly examples. As for Genesis a 4yr old or a 40yr old can understand it thanks to it's symbolism.
What you are doing is what so many do and that is to try and put this story into how you think it would be rather then looking at it from the historical time period to which it was written.
Everything about the afterlife is defined by the physical which would be completely impossible given the physical body dies. This is try and compare apples to candy bars and it is doomed to failure.
The probelm with all of this is all Christians are looking at these stories from our point of view and social world view not that of how people were thinking in the first century.
Add to that all of the so call prophecies are so vague as to be able to be applied to any timeframe. Which is why every generation since about 200 years BC people were talking about the end of the world.

There is the very big possibility that Jesus never even existed but that this was a Strawman made up by religious leaders. Which if that would be true the fulfilling prophecy would be a given since they would've followed the script.

@PastorIblis the rape issue you talk about, is not clearly defined as rape by the hebrew words used. They could also mean "lie with" or "seize". In any case, it doesn't speak about the degree of violence with which the woman is taken, and regardless of that, back then virginity was very valued, (unlike now). One instance of rape in the OT is when Amnon rapes Tamar, and she seems to want to marry Amnon. The law is protecting women from being raped and being left unwanted by anyone and alone.

The J came about through many translations of the bible his name in Hebrew is yeshua meaning "salvation" or "he will save" christ means "the annointed" one. The meaning defines him not just his name in english. and the old testament talks about him in Isaiah, in Leviticus, in proverbs, in Jeremiah... he is all over the old testament actually all the way from genesis chapter 3.

Scholars who study the bible from a critical-historical approach do not consider the bible a good source of evidence regarding the Christian claims of Jesus. Of all the experts, only two were actual university professors, and neither of them were historians. The rest were bible scholars out of divinity schools and seminaries, hardly the breeding grounds of critical thought.

Actually the focal point depends on who i am talking to. There are multiple aspects of the Ancient world upon which i can and do speak.
In this series i have mentioned at least once how the concept of evil as it is known today began in the 6th century with zoroasterism.
However as for the bible it is largely a sociological work speaking more to the culture that was around at that time then our world today.
Masons believe Jesus and Satan were one in the same.

There are 613 laws in the old testament and one of them is against killing an innocent man. Which means this Jesus had to be guilty of breaking one of the jewish laws and thus could not be perfect as is claimed.
Most of the old testament laws are not relevant today.
The do not kill, steal, lie those are social laws which are necessary to have a society. But all of the laws against incest are really not that big of an issue today.
Thde parables were simply stories.

The game of telephone can show very clearly how in a very short period of time stories that begin with one person become completely different from how they began.

The one is the original and it is a Sumerian tale not an Israelite one.
It is in the Sumerian one that the symbolism is really explained.
The Serpent is not a negative figure as every culture has stories of Serpent gods.

In Mark 9:47 Jesus actually equates a physical injury (Losing an eye) to going to Heaven that way. This is equating the physical conditions a person has in life to what they would have in an afterlife.

Add to that all of the so call prophecies are so vague as to be able to be applied to any timeframe. Which is why every generation since about 200 years BC people were talking about the end of the world.

Not only does secular records prove his existance but the actions of his followers shows who he was.
The week after Jesus was crucified, his disciples fled into galilee to avoid the romans fearing for their lives. A month later though, they said that they had seen the risen christ and all of them gave their lives for him without hesitation in full confidence in their message.

In any case, it doesn't speak about the degree of violence with which the woman is taken, and regardless of that, back then virginity was very valued, (unlike now). Scholars who study the bible from a critical-historical approach do not consider the bible a good source of evidence regarding the Christian claims of Jesus. Of all the experts, only two were actual university professors, and neither of them were historians. The rest were bible scholars out of divinity schools and seminaries, hardly the breeding grounds of critical thought.

Music, as was well documented in this case, and is well known anyway, is extemely powerful as a medium. There is really nothing like music in terms of being able to drive your message home. Why do you think corporations spend so much money on music in their advertising? It works. I know it. You know it. Merchants know it. And so does Satan.

It's interesting how the topic of "evolution" has become prominent here even though the video topic is "music".
Also, I've noticed a pattern: those who support the theory of evolution seem to resort mostly to ad hominem attacks - name-calling, mocking, etc. - rather than substantive argumentation. Guys, you're NOT serving well your own position when you do this. It serves only to discredit your position by making it look like you don't HAVE substative arguments. Think about it!
