  • he would be a good drill sergeant xD

  • A good teacher should listen to his/her students.

  • ok, let me shed some light on this video. i went to that highschool (graduated in 06) and mr mantel was one of my favorite teachers. he was the type of person who would let people get away with ANYTHING. but if you pushed your luck then there would be hell to pay. "dont mistake my kindness for weakness" he would say. that kid that left the room saranwrapped a kid to the desk the day before while there was a sub so he was pissed to begin with. was it wrong, yes, but should 1 fuck up ruin him? no

  • do you need to stand up in the class evry morning and listen to the national song ?

    i'm dutch so i don't have 2 X3

  • lol but i would be pissed too if little boys were actin like dicks. no need for the chair pulling though

  • brick township? i rememebr when me and my brother used to live in ocean county yearrsss ago when my brother was still in elementary school..now we're in ewing township and hes going to princeton university next year

  • And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night that our flag was still there!

  • God bless America!

  • Stupid, insolent kids. Grow the fuck up

  • Its worth the detention

  • Lol. I love seeing angry teachers! XD Its the funniest thing ever

  • That kid does have a right to sit down, even if he may be just doing it to get the teacher pissed.

  • I watch this and more and more just want to see machines slaughtering people left and right. Those kids who are laughing are just as demented as the teacher.

  • It's a pretty decent bet that one or two sensitive kids had cortisol-induced seizures out of fear while this jackass bellows at the troublesome students.

People lack respect for others. It's not right to treat each other like animals.

The school system in general is a problem. Why would you lock hundreds of varied, growing people together with fifty authority figures and no parental guidance? Bring back the apprentice system.

  • Lol. When teachers freak out. The natural reaction is hilarity.

  • I am not defending the teacher nor student. I am simply pointing out that the teacher lost his cool and it was very un-professional. As for the kids, this is something expected and not un-common for kids to do... Although that does not justify it, I am not arguing daily child behavior.. I am arguing this teacher and his maturity to handle a situation.

  • @AnnoyingXboxer Ok, you win. If you are going to hold that teacher to such standards, but not the group that instigated it, then there is no reason to continue this discussion.

I do hope, however, that you are able to reflect upon instances such as these as you mature and realize those kids should go to school to get an education rather than provoke an educated professional.

It has been fun debating this with you!

    Best wishes

  • @pamcdermitt Clearly you are not even listening to what I am saying. Yes, those kids are just as wrong for provoking it. But he is the ADULT and he knows this type of shit happens with his job. That is like me working with dogs and then bitch and over react because I was bitten. Teachers get their job knowing DAMN WELL what they have to put up with. If you can't handle it, then don't be a teacher. Simple as that.

  • No I hear what you are saying, but now you are comparing students to DOGS?!? Dogs man....I was willing to let you have the last word here, but I do not think there is an analogy that you can use to make this at all reasonable. These children are acting like dogs, but my 6 year old knows how to treat people better than these kids are treating that teacher.

He studies to teach kids, not dogs....I agree, it happens, but it shouldn't...these kids are D-BAGS!

    Lol...dogs....just give up bro.

  • @pamcdermitt Nice Strawman... you know damn well that analogy was to compare the situations and not compare students to dogs. The point was they get the job understanding what they will have to deal with. You argue so fallaciously it is kind of childish. Also, I can promise you once your 6 year old gets older he will act this same way once in a while.. They are teenagers, obviously you have not raised one yet.

  • I agree, this debate is very childish. At first you try to say the teacher is is to blame, now you are comparing the students to dogs. You say I am debating in a childish manner, but you switched sides. Not sure what you are arguing now, so you begin to try to pick apart my stance which has been the same since the start.

Go ahead, take the last word, I am bowing out of this debate. It is kind of like Chick Liddell in an MMA fight with a toddler...you simply have no chance.

  • i cant tell if its the Tourettes guy or Mickey Mantle's son

  • The kid is kind of a bitch.

  • one of my teachers in the 8th grade got way more pissed then that.. and he was yelling at me lol

  • snotty kid....torment the teacher and then act offended after the fireworks go off.

  • @aatkinsonification Shut the fuck up. You can't force somebody to stand up legally. The pledge is not an obligation. Ignoramus.

  • LOL at the whistle @ 0:55 !

  • @electroscandal Do you believe everything that's fed to you by your precious insightful bands? Respect where you came from instead of buying into some lib bullshit your regurgitated from the TV. Get your own brain for yourself.

  • Courts ruled that you don't have to stand for the pledge and it is illegal to make someone do so. That man could be sued and fired.

  • it would have been funny if he went and sat down on the chair again

  • dude i never say the pledge its a PLEDGE we only have to say it once and in the origional pledge it never said under god because out forefathers came to america to express their own religon and people cant be forced to say the pledge DUR DUH DERP

  • @cheycheyfriend247 Check your research, Junior.

  • @timw708 no check how you adress me PERSON!

  • "Are you gonna SERIOUSLY take a chair from under me?" That kid is a TOTAL POO-SAY. Someone is talking loudly at you, get over crybaby. That's going to happen for the rest of your sad little life. Stand up for the Pledge, jer-koff. If my generation had almost no respect, this generation is in negative numbers. Pathetic kid.

  • @timw708 It has nothing to do with the fact that he's being yelled at. He's not a pussy, yes he has an attitude but he is not a pussy. I would do the exact same thing, a public high school teacher yelling and commanding a bunch of kids to do something so insanely arbitrary is absolutely absurd. Yes its important that they respect our country, but that can't be forced when the only representative is this fucking clown.

  • @timw708 why should i stand up for a lie? why the fuck should a respect this country? it's just a country... who the fuck cares?

  • @electroscandal Because of all the people who fought and did the dirt they had to for this country so you can sit your entitled ass on youtube and make comments about how the country that allows you this freedom sucks and you don't owe it a damn thing. But somehow it owes you more than it has already provided. You're a waste of space and exactly whats wrong with your generation. Hopefully gravity stops working for you.

  • @timw708 lol my rights are ensured by the constitution and this no one had to "fight" for this country. this country definitely owes more, WAY more. you probably think amurrka is the best country... lol we don't even have free health care. worst first world country bro xD u jelly of canada?

  • How did he not notice the recording device?

  • wtf this looks like boot camp

  • YES DRILL SEARGENT!!!!!!

  • This is what the Tourettes Guy would be like if he became teacher.

  • i woulda ripped the flag off the wall as i left.. Thrown it on the ground.

  • This is the problem, Teachers act like parents.. No wonder i see the drop out rate getting higher and higher

  • @AnnoyingXboxer those kids antagonized that teacher....it's called cyberbaiting...look it up.

  • @pamcdermitt It doesn't matter. Bait or not it's the teachers job and he should be able to be an adult and handle it. If not then maybe that shouldn't be his job.

If you work at McDonald's or Burger King and a customer pisses you off are you just going to scream at them? If so what would would happen? You would get fired.

Even in this case it is even LESS acceptable because teachers get this job KNOWING they are working with kids which are known to be irritating.

  • Teachers have no recourse. Send them to office, office sends back, no paddling either. Suspend a kid, the parents override it, they don't want to deal with their kids either.

Many kids don't hold value in education. This does't happen in Korea, Japan, or Germany. They are kicking our asses in everything-technology, engineering etc.

Burger King doen'tt make sense. People never get angry with food service. treat them bad, eat pubic hair. Even people at Burger King have recourse, Teachers, none.

  • Comment removed

  • @AnnoyingXboxer No, you are wrong here. A teacher goes into education to teach, not deal with unruly, rude children. Just what do you think teachers go to college for? Plus, it is not acceptable for students to take video of their teachers...that teacher would lose his job if he taped his kids...see no recourse...

You should stop arguing now...you are appearing more stupid that you likely are - or are you rally that stupid? Now go play some video games.

  • @pamcdermitt Am I "rally" that stupid? Perhaps you should double check grammar before you start calling people stupid. I am not saying they teach so they can deal with unruly kids, but they most definitely know it is part of the package. It is acceptable for students to film teachers, I see no wrong in it. Also, I have had a Spanish teacher who would record the class everyday.. He didn't loose his job.

You are the one who should stop arguing since you cant handle opposing opinions.

  • @AnnoyingXboxer That's a spelling error, not a grammer error.

Schools have policies against tech and disruptive behavior in school. My guess is that was filmed with a phone, against school policy. These children are in violation of several policies.

I don't have a problem with opposing opinions, but I can not believe you would go on record to defend these students. There is a huge difference between your spanish teacher recording his class and what is happening here.

  • @pamcdermitt None the less an error.

Lmao, what is you're point? That doesn't excuse the actions of the teachers... You are pretty much arguing with a red herring. This is about the teachers actions. Sure the students have done wrong, but that doesn't excuse the teachers behavior.

How is there a difference? Please explain? One can record the class to monitor the students behavior. but a student can't record the teacher for their behavior? Sounds like a double standard.

  • It relates because you knew you were being taped and he does not. Not a double standard. Also, the footage posted by these students doesn't show what the kids did to get him to that point. You honestly think that teacher walked through the door screaming like that? I seriously doubt it.

Also, you should work on YOUR grammar. You're = you are. Your is a possessive pronoun.

  • @pamcdermitt I'm not saying this video shows the whole situation now am I? I don't deny the fact the teacher as a person had a right to be irritated.. I would be to. But none the less he is at his job.. He pulled a chair out from a student and got overly aggressive. Clearly this is not adult behavior. Also, I could care less about grammar on a youtube video.. The only reason I pointed YOUR spelling error out is because you resulted to name calling. In reality I could care less.

  • @pamcdermitt Also, are you suggesting being ignorant to the fact you are being recorded some how justifies your actions?

  • Anyone know why he was yelling?

  • is this old brick if it is im a freshmen there lol

  • FATTY!

  • i didnt take my hat off during that and i got in trouble

  • I think the top rated comment "fuck the flag" is posted by a terrorist, and everyone who liked it is, too.

(I should be thinking that, but all I can think is how pathetic America(ns) have become, but being more respectful is better than helping our downfall.)

  • oh yes that takes me back.. it takes me back to highschool yes it does it takes me back to highschool it does.

  • Is it really that hard to stand up for the national anthem?

  • @coolguyman16 NATIVE AMERICAN RAPE!!!11

  • @coolguyman16 No, but it's illegal to force someone to do it.

  • I would have done the same thing as that kid he told to stand up lol

  • Hey it's the tourettes guy!

  • @Scarjaka Tourettes Guy 6 year later XD

  • @Scarjaka in the beginning it looks like he saying the s word

  • why is an anthem playing in the background? it reminds me of nazi germany, when everyone was forced to sing the anthem, or else they would be send off to the camps

  • @billismyteddybear Standard practice in North American public schools.

  • @Lateralus347 what happens if you don't sing it? do ppl do that?

  • @billismyteddybear It probably depends on the school/region, I'm Canadian and we didn't have to sing it but we did have to stand. I'd moved here from England, where they don't do anything like this in school, and I got yelled at for not IMMEDIATELY standing for O Canada. After that I never bothered to find out what would happen if I didn't stand, but every time I watch this video it reminds me of that.

  • @Lateralus347 i just wondered beacuse my friend lives there, and he said he never stands up and they do nothing, and he lives in oregon btw so maybe they aren't so patriotic there

  • @billismyteddybear Generally In public schools in the USA, the anthem is played during the first period of classes and students stand up during it. I have no clue why they do it, but I go to a private school and they don't do that routine there. In my opinion it's really stupid and some schools these days just skip the anthem and make the kids do the pledge of alliegence which only takes about 10 seconds. This is however, how a lot of americans learned the lyrics to the national anthem.

  • @BeatlesAnthology you could learn people the anthem in school so they know the lyrics and that, but it's just wrong to do that because they get a picture of a world where the us is the strongest and most important nation of the world, when it's not and that's called brainwashing and i you ask me patriotism is wrong

  • who the fuck does this guy think he is?

  • LOL public schools.

  • fucking drill instucter from full metal jacket

  • woogieboogiewoo, remember

  • what a fail teacher. It's obviously funny from the kid's point of view.

  • You're from Brick? Brick??! I'm Brick from Giddy I'm Giddy from Brick No No No Stop trying to confuse me

  • That kids a douche..

  • Seriously teachers need to take anger management classes when they first get hired. I'm lucky that I had nice teachers in high school although I did have a mean math teacher in 6th and 8th grade (same teacher; also had her for 7th grade homeroom) and she yelled at innocent students all the time for the stupidest reasons ever. Nobody liked her. If I was the principal and had a teacher like Mr. Mantel, I'd fire him IMMEDIATELY!

  • MORE PROOF THAT AMERICA IS A FASCIST STATE

  • Yessiree. Some pretty fine parenting on display there.

  • To be honest, if those kids would just show some respect, the problems might not have happened. Having said that, we don't know what went on before the video started.

  • A lot of you are not going to like what I'm going to say. But so what. The teacher is in charge of this class, and, like or not, he has the right to tell the students what they can and cannot do. It's also the same thing in the work world, and employer has the right to tell employees what they can and cannot do. That is the reality.

I have also noticed that the people who are always demanding their "rights" have absolutely NO REGARD for the rights of others.

  • Wow really? All he asked was to stand up and respect our country and that little faggot couldnt do it? GTFO the country then. At my school down south we have to stand up for the pledge and prayer every morning and i go to a public school.

  • how did you not get caught recording this?

  • @Mspokemonfan2 The student managed to record it secretly but he did eventually get caught when the school administration found the video online.

  • Comment removed

  • this some kinda army school??

  • @legokidz44 No it's actually a public school; the "teacher" in this video has anger problems and doesn't even deserve to be a teacher.

  • Students cannot be made to stand for the pledge/national anthem.

  • the kid that is seated of course new the camera was rolling..ahead of time.. and the others whistleing was trying to provoke the teacher

  • he looks like a teacher in my school..HAHAHAHA

  • no whistling!!!!!

  • Students don't have to stand up and say the pledge, being forced to do that is against student rights.

  • @alienwareify How about talking about student's responsibilities for once. Like it or not, there are rules, and they must be followed.

  • @bender1958 Its still a right that students do not have to say the pledge. The teacher should respect those rights.

  • @alienwareify The teacher is in charge of this class and, like it or not, he has the right to tell those students what they can and cannot do!

I notice that a lot of people who always demand their "rights" do not want to take responsibility for their actions, and have absolugtely NO REGARD for thei rights of others.

  • @bender1958 last time i checked, a public school is a government institution. The United States Constitution overrules any other rule a public worker has.

  • Comment removed

  • @alienwareify I would like to see you and the kids in this video display your "I demand that you respects my rights" attitude in the military (especially the Marine Corps). You would have a gang of Drill Instructors on your ass so quickly that you wouldn't know what hit you. And those DI's would make the teacher in this video look like a gentleman.

  • @bender1958 of course this wouldnt work in the Military. They take away your rights, and when you enlist you allow them to take away your rights.

  • lol fucking kids i dont know how teachers put up with little shit stains like that

  • fuck the flag.

  • @deadmanshand2010 what the fucked u just say fuck u go to a communist country and see how u like it soldiers die every dad for your ungratefull dumb ass i hope go over seas and see how it is u ungratefull dumb fuck i love this country so get out u asshole

  • @youngemrprepper

    cool story bro .

  • @youngemrprepper cant tell if troll... or legitimate ignorant american

  • @deadmanshand2010 Fuck your mom.

  • @brainiacgames

cry me a river fag .

  • @deadmanshand2010 My eyes drip your mom's pussy juice.

  • @brainiacgames

0/10 is that the best you can do , lol ur a fag .

  • @deadmanshand2010

    YOU ARE SO COOL

  • If I was a teacher, I'd be exactly like this! :D

  • He looks like my Sub teacher Mr Hori

He scream at everyone espiceally Me and my 2 friends we are throwing pencil and he got so mad

  • The music is really creepy.

  • Reminds me of Coach Buzzcut from Beavis and Butthead.

  • The student who left is a LOSER

    LOL

  • Someone should have switched with music with the Communist Anthem.

  • these kids are lucky where i come from teachers still use the paddle

  • @adsweaty no you're just unlucky

  • @Obsidian1392 no america is just to lenient when it comes to kids we need some more discipline with kids these days and i just turned 16 and this is coming from me its true most teachers now a days get interupted with there teaching do to unrooly kids true you can make a kid do what he dosnt want for that one sends him out or give him f but if a kid is verbally disrespecting you... just say these days in america kids are very fortunate but at the same time manners are lacking in many

  • @adsweaty well I can't disagree there. England is too lenient with kids as well

  • @Obsidian1392 oh your from england? huh you know i figured that teachers would be more strict there because i have heard english teachers have no patience for wild behavior just like americans but i guess they cant deel with the behavior can they just like america? oh well im against hitting kids but sometimes they just need a good smack to head because they are growing up to be brats a kid in my class was mimiking my teacher they dont get paid enough for educating us or dealing with us

  • @adsweaty i bet you're the fag in your class

  • @dotch8774 and i bet your the fat ass double chinned asshole who eats his way into coma on a regular basis and gets sexually harnessed by the gym teacher in locker room and goes home to his hillbilly family to take hs anger out on his mom :) go fuck your yourself by the way dick im a girl

  • @adsweaty before you make that assumption i suggest you be bold and facebook me.

  • @dotch8774 Facebook you? so what? so i can meet the asshole who just decides to pick on me over the internet? you like making people feal like crap? and on another not do you have anything against fags? because you sure were using the word to insult me. because you thought you were the shit a second ago. look dumb ass i dont need Facebook to confront you but if you want to confront me go ahead give me your facebook i want to see the little hack you think you are! go ahead i dare you

  • @adsweaty if a teacher even thinks about hitting me ill beat the shit out of them. Teachers think they can do whatever the hell they want but they're actually just there to teach, not discipline us. If someone's not following rules then send them to the principle but dont hit them.

  • who would actually respond when the teacher asks in such a polite way (sarcasm there), "Any questions?" like seriously, what would be a likely question? one with balls could ask, "Mr. Mantel, why must you verbally abuse your students?"

  • YES DRILL SEARGEANT!!!!!

  • What's the teacher mad about? Students laughing during the "Star Spangled Banner?" That class looks rowdy. The teacher's reaction is probably due to ongoing discipline problems in his class. Rather than just one incident. My advice is It's always best to keep your cool. Even though that young man was being a cunt. Pulling the chair out underneath the him could have led to a physical altercation between the teacher and pupil and when something like that happens the teacher never wins.

  • I am sorry but standing for your national anthem no matter how messed up our country is proves your loyalty to your country. If you don't you might as well spit in the faces of every soldier fighting for the rights we have. Things hit the fan but our country has more rights than many others and that is why so many people want to be here. For all we know that man could of lost his son or fought himself, kids don't realize there is a story beyond their laziness of why we ask them to pledge their

  • @jlh2283 I doubt there will be teacher on Earth who would have the effrontery to call those useless, baneful, malign, bruta solders heros. They were born to kill people, especially the innocent one. Soldiers are those who are too stupid to succeed in college , so they have started to take order from the government. NEVER STAND UP FOR AN ANTHEM. IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!

  • @MrTONYTONYM You must not be an american and understand our milkitary and who joins it. Nobody is bred to be a military person. Majority of individuals like my husband chose the military to get away from his mother who took his money and didnt allow him anyway of going off on his own. That was his salvation from his demented childhood. Also, men in the military go through vigourous training in which they actually earn credits for college. My husband is a third away from an

  • @jlh2283 abominate soldiers is because i abhor their way of defending their own nations. They acted selfishly and only fight for the sake of their own country. They deem killing as fun and glorious. They think the only way to make themselves famous is to post their killing videos on YOUTUBE. I apologize if I had offended your husband. Of course my acknowledge in intelligence is deficient because i am just a callow young man. How could you possibly expect a profound lecture from me?

  • @MrTONYTONYM Associates degree. Also, many people join for the college money so they serve their time to go to college. You seem terribly misinformed about our servicemen in America. I think your lack of intelligence would allow bme to presume that your father was a hard ass dumbass who treated you like shit so you assume all military men are just as stupid. Thats the problem though you should never assume. Just so you know though I worked for schools and every single teacher called them brave.

  • @jlh2283 Back in highschool, I was being educated by my social studies teacher that they were born to defend the justice. Without them, our nation would be consighed in to the state of disarray. I AGREE THIS STATEMENT. But, there must be a more humane way for them to do it. They should defend the justice without the need to harm any person. If we really extol those American or Canadian soldiers for their bravery nowadays, we are literally condoning killings, doesn't it? The reason for me to

  • My God, these kids need to learn some respect. Yes, the teacher was way over the top, but that was just a completely rude response

  • @yabbledudet Why do people in America have to respect their governent even if they bombed their own buildings and blame it on others? How disgusting America is!

  • Kids are mean

  • i would of turned the tv off for a laugh and steal his pens from his table

  • dude calm the fuck down!!! lolol

  • The guy who left is the true american, not the army teacher.

  • A teacher?! More like someone from the army!

  • @Darkvampire376428 actually, more like someone with serious anger management issues!

  • Good on the kid for walking out =)

  • IS THIS REAL LIFE?

  • @itsazy From what I hear, this is real life. I'm glad I never met Mr. Mantel in real life because if he ever dared to yell at me like this, I would feel withdrawn, sad, changed, depressed and angry to the point that I might have a talk with a counselor and hope to have an attractive girl comfort me and give me a hug...

  • I think i saw this before, i thought it was called Full Metal Jacket...

  • SIR YES SIR!!!!! DOUCHEBAGS REPORTING FOR DUTY! SIR!!!

  • It's Martial Law.

  • Sheesh

  • My grandpa fought in WW2, stormed Omaha Beach, had 12 kids, died at age 94 last October, and loved America, but sumthing i will always remember him say is "Its your life, do whatever the hell you want"

  • hahaha what a douchebag. i hate teachers that act like drill seargents

  • @niggaplease66 me neither. I had a teacher like that in middle school, unfortunately. Nobody liked her.

  • It's like church, if you don't wanna go, then you don't have to. Jeez. It's not a law. It's a freakin choice.

  • You Americans really have to do that? I always thought it was just in films....

  • @pafcjon1 lol yeah we do it, not necessarily to the national anthem, but usually for the pledge of allegiance to the flag, and it's usually never a have to thing, you can sit and read a book for all of the 15 seconds it takes place before the morning announcements. lol, I bet you view that as sort of an american way of brainwashing youngsters into being some sort of unquestioning zombie slave for a totalitarian union. Or maybe you were just surprised that we did it like on movies.

  • @pafcjon1 Lmaooo

  • @pafcjon1 Yep.

  • You guys need to calm down... In my opinion it's right to stand for your country although it is wrong to force people into doing something they don't want to. However, this video most likely didn't show the reason to why the teacher was so angry and therefore you can't make a false accusation of why this teacher did what he did. If he was in the service, which is very possible, I can see him getting that upset at any form of disrespect.

  • Geeze it was only the morning and he was already this pissed?
