I just watched letters from iwo jima today it was so amazing and sad!!!!!!!!!!! I felt so bad for the japanese and it made me release just how much of douchebags we were to them in that battle i mean seriously killing them for surrendering thats pretty pathetic. Prisoners of war don't need to be treated like that.

This vid is way better than most crap on youtube! it has a purpose, great music, good storyline. From the beaches to the trenches to the feelings of the great veterans. my grandpa was on Iwo Jima . He survived but died shortly after from a heart attack... I never even met him, but i have heard many stories. I wanna be JUST like him and be a great soldier..

my dad was on the first wave on dday in normandy on june 6 1944 he was in the 2ndnd rangers and survived hes still alive today

@Snako85 wow thats so amazing that he survived the first wave cuz on DDay the first troops to storm in were annihilated and knowing that he survived old age is also amazing cuz most vets die on the field and survivors die of old age but knowing he survived both is an amazing story that should be told proudly

I just really feel for the veterans and soldiers because my dad is in the U.S. Navy. I think I'm so sensitive about it because I don't want my dad to turn out like one of the soldiers that lost their lives and families.
