Most of Sunil's songs were accompanied by Leela Asoka. Not sure if its her on this song. The record says Sunil Santha & The Group. Some of his songs have been backed by the SLBC Orchestra too.

Thanks for the comment !!. Yes, Sunil lived a couple of miles away from us and were family friends. Unfortunately it was in my teens, and I was too young to appreciate the music, like I do now. Wish I could meet him now !!
