i prefer long hair but i donated my hair its been like 3weeks and i miss my hair so much. but you know.. when you think about it, and you know that you helped, you feel good, or i feel good.

And I believe a man with muscles get a certain amount of attention because of this. I love my girlfriend or wife to have long hair because I am attracted to her because of the work and effort she has and continue to have to do to keep it looking beautiful. I believe it makes a women more fem and from a sexual point of view its a turn on
Women don't get it and yet they tell men they never understand. Basically..If your guy saw another guy with long hair and thought he was pretty and sexy, you would think, that is gross. Well it is the same way with guys. Women who think other women are cute with short hair is the same. If your guy thinks you look cute with a little boy haircut, he probably likes little boys or you gave him justification to cheat on you with another woman. Normal men prefer women with a feminine appearance.
Ah, also, if anyone has donated to Locks of Love, if you haven't heard already, there's a lot of shady info on them. Just mentioning it in case you didn't know =3
Yea, I am aware they are getting to be quite shady. I know a family that has lost two teenage girls to cancer and the stories of how locks of Love charges $50 to cancer patients for their wigs and most of the donated hair they use to make wigs that they sell. I am going to donate to Wigs for Kids after it grows 3 more inches to go past my hips. They are ran out of Michigan.
I actually find most people I know to be against long hair. o.o Sure, there are those like you described, but I find most fall into the trend market where whatever is hip and new is the only thing that's attractive.
Personally, I prefer long hair for a number of different reasons. Yeah, it flows and such, but it's also fun and flirty, rather rare these days, and you can do so much with it. I think a number of people have already made reference to inherent natural instincts toward it, too =3
I think the reason are fascinated with long hair cause there are many styles you can do with it. I have met women who had long hair and cut it short and they looked a lot better with it short. I believe when one looks at women with long hair it's associated with being feminine.
I used to have hair down to my bum. The day I graduated from jr. college I went out with friends instead of walking the stage and got my hair cut. I donated 1.5 ft of hair to locks of love. My hair didn't even go to my shoulders. I loved it, but I actually think my long hair was easier to style. I actually miss my hair sometimes and other times I want to hack it all off again, because it has already grown half way back. My tip.. Try new styles. Don't get stuck with the same safe thing.
That sucks, I got lice once working at an underprivileged school teaching Spanish to kids... the treatments are brutal and I had to cut my hair to my shoulders when that happened.
I prefer long hair due to its look, beauty, uniqueness, ability to be arranged and versatility. I've always felt this way. I am male too and have hair about to my waist. Long, thick and healthy mine is. Long hair is just another prominent feature which brings out a persons good looks.

I wondered why too, and was pleased to find out:
Long hair indicates health. Men need only minutes to create offspring, while women need at least 1 or 2 years of sustained health to procreate.
Since hair falls out when very ill, natural selection made most men to be turned on by it.
(It's the same mechanism that makes boobs so popular.)
Women evolved to grow it even longer for the sole reason to alure the opposite gender, making long hair a typical feminine feature.
