458 Italia has dual clutch tranny, as well as M5 F10, GT-R etc. This game sucks about it, you cant hear and feel the razor fast gearchanges those trannys produce. All cars shifting time is the same. i hate that. Turn10 make racing game and dont uderstand that?

That is a huge huge problem and it must be fixed! All forza guys should complain to Turn10 about that! ! ! ! ! !

GT5 performs much better in that aspect. You can clearly hear that DSG car is DSG car.

I am a racer so I know what I am talking about: If you want to play with a REAL driving simulator, play with GT5, that is the closest to the real racing experience. Forza is a great, fun game - but not a simulator. Get over it. But it is NOT right man! Assists are good - learn to drive first with assists, then try to turn some off, then turn all off. Assists are to learn how to drive.

If he wants to just sit back and watch the computer drive, he can! And yes, the assists are probably on because (as the uploader said,) this was the public demo. So he was playing it for the first time probably.

I bought this game yesterday only to be utterly disappointed! The racing engine this game uses is not realistic in the slightest (even with steering assist and abs off) in my opinion the closest to a race car simulator would DEFINATELY have to be nfs SHIFT 1 & 2!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Now for me personal opinion. Game looks great. Car sounds are exceptional and graphics are solid.Lets not forget the car list too. I do think the way the cars handle is a bit un-realistic, they oversteer a lot. Reminds me of Shift......but, if I had a Xbox I'd buy it for sure. Yes, all this comes from a GT5 owner. Surprised? In Forza 4, the car models you see in replays or photo mode (whatever its called) are different models then what you use in game. Where in GT5 the models stay the same through photo mode and in game. Its deceiving.

My problem with Forza 4 is that your stuck on closed circuit race tracks. Sure, the graphics are beautiful, the sounds are awesome BUT after a while you get sick of going around and around a boring race track. I like driving games that are on the OPEN ROAD with TRAFFIC... Such as the Need for Speed series. I want Cops, Pedestrians, Traffic, you know, driving in the REAL WORLD not just stuck in some boring race track that goes around and around... What fun is that? It gets old real fast.

Not a sim but a bit more realistic then world for me.
