THANK YOU, everyone says how easy it is but noone shows the hard parts. For me that would be hard. I'm currently expecting twins and seriously considering cloth diapering for the cost effectiveness. I've said I would use liners but from the looks of things they don't make that much of a difference or do they? Something to think about. I don't know if I could handle that much poo. Thanks again for sharing the TRUTH!
@sommersaving they do make a lot of diffrence from what I have experianced from a child that used cloth dipers that I had at day care. and his poo was usaly very runny but those liners helped so much. but he never had a diper cover like this. I am acutally going to get the cloth dipers like this for my next child=)
I agree with GyansMama's comment how it's great that someone finally is showing what cloth diapering is like when the poop hits the fan. (Pun totally intended.) So many vids only see the cutesy side. Fake demo changes (when the child isn't really messy), and raving about the colors and patterns.
My verdict so far: G-Dipes look awesome to use...when it is just pee. Messy poop obviously looks like a whole other matter.
Btw, why are you getting poop all over the carpet around 2:20? lol
This seems like a lot more work than my pocket diapers. I just rinse off the poo and toss it all into the wet bag for wash day. Same thing with my snappied prefold+ fleece cover except I re-use my fleece cover a few time before washing.
FINALLY someone showed what CLOTH DIAPERING really is about the moment real life happens. You GO GIRL! We did it all too. Thanks for taking the time to post this.
AWESOME video, I really like to see the real deal on how cloth diapers are washed. BUT as a first time mother this is a real discouragment, not only seeing the mess but also the time it takes to clean the diaper :/ theres got to be an easier way!
@DalyBisit I had my first son in Feb 2010. I had invested a lot of money in these (g diapers) and could not wait to try them. My son has super chunky legs and the cloth insert would bunch up leaving room for fluid to travel. The g diaper doesn't really adjust in the rise area so my sons tummy would push it down making more room for fluid to travel. I tried these diapers for a month and they leaked every single time. I expected to wash diapers every other day, ...
@DalyBisit -but with these leaking every time I was washing his sheets and blankets, plus his wet clothes. My poor son was always wet. Also, the snaps on the liner would push up against his skin and leave marks. I tried a lot of things to help the leaking.. adjusting, adding more cloth but nothing helped. I couldn't keep my son in these diapers after a month. Since I invested so much in these I made up my mind not to spend a dime on any cloth diapering :( Just thought i'd share this side too.

Loved the video. Not the poop but how it's really done and the innovative ribbon drying rack. Thanks!

This seems like SO much work & waste. I just use a diaper sprayer & put all the pieces into a dry bucket.

@Bparra22 Have you tried Evolution diapers? Or Kawaii diapers? Gdiapers didn't work for me either but I found these alteratives much much easier.
