MOst of those actors are obviously not Egyptian

They DO speak the Egyptian dialect but it's kinda weird, like when non Egyptians speak Egyptian. MOst of them have funny accents

Could have been a really great mainstream movie if it wasn't so pornographic. Great message, too bad all the pornographic material could not have been just insinuated instead of actually being shown. I usually like to support arabic films and movies. I like these eye opening topics. However, I don't need to see an actual penis in every scene! Deliver the message next time with class & dignity! Could have been the same message with out all the blowjobs. I don't need to see that. Thx.

I was having dinner with the director/writer last night, I mentioned the vivid sex. He said that if he hides the body then there is a shame involved with showing gay sex. The sex must be as open as the topic of the film. This is a movie about going against shame so one must little let everything out of the closet. There are very few movies of this topic and it's a big deal to see someone with courage to really go all the way with something of this nature.

It's not available on DVD yet, but soon. The director has a bit of touch-up editing. I was just having dinner with him and one of the actors last night after the film showed at the NY LGBT film festival.

I actually watched the movie in a film festival yesterday!. To be honest, this whole experience of watching it was intense for me. There were good laughs here and there throughout the film. It actually delievered strong message against the egyption government, that they treat homos as prostitutes. I specifically like the character who played a straight muslim who practices his religion but dillusional about sexual experimination.

As much as homosexuality in the Arab world should be addressed more and we should talk about it more openly, but I believe this is definitely not the solution and it shouldn't even be dignified with the title "film".

This is NOT sprung from homophobia, en contraire, but I think the film looks terribly tacky and just trying on pushing the borders in a terrible manner with no regards to what is art or so. If u want to do a porn film, go ahead and do it, yet don't let it participate in film fests

Toul Omri (All My Life) hasn't been close to the scissors of Egyptian censorhsip. Director Maher Sabry openly discusses gay characters: their love stories, social problems, sexual escapades, and the state's crackdown on the gay community. But not all the characters are gay. There is a main character who is a devout religious man struggling with his sexual desires towards women. Also the movie discusses the social pressure on women in Egypt and whether immigration could be a solution.

Egyptian cinema has had few portrayals of gay characters but they were tame, or secondary characters, or were killed at the end, or the movie ended with the gay character crying and blaming his mother for turning out to be homosexual. The most known of such Egytian movies are: "The Malatili Bathhouse" (1973); 2 of Youssef Shahine's trilogy ("Alexandria... Why?", "An Egyptian Story"); Yousry Nasrallah's "Summer Thefts" and "Marcides"; and Marwan Hamed's "The Yacoubian Building" (2006).

I don't agree with you - it seems very drab, tacky and it does not represent the homosexuals as normal human beings (which is the message needed) but rather ones that let their lives revolve around their sexual lives and desires. There's more to homosexuality and their representation than anal sex...

Hi omerno87 Though I have not seen the film and you may be right about its pornographic content, I think if anyone is denied satisfaction one seems to be consumed by thoughts about it. If you were ever in love as a teenager you can appreciate just how much one's life seems to be taken over by it. If I was gay living under constant threat I probably would either be too scared to act upon it or push it to the limit -after all they can only kill me once.
