Poor Bruny, he went from winning a silver medal at the world championships the year before, to not even making the final here. l believe this is the only major championship (world championships or olympics) during that decade to where he didn't make the finals. Nobody has ever done that.

@ANZO89 thats the reason why I tuned into this video-trying to see how good he looked at that age-and I'm thinking he coulda gone faster in the final...sub 10 atleast....Carl Lewis was also 36 that year and was in the Us Champs final-but he could only muster a 10.2 b/c he had a slight strain-but still won long jump gold which was almost as impressive...
