@mddale31 real punches do happen in wrestling either as part of the show to make it look more realistic or because the guys get legitimately angry at eachother in the ring. The wrestlers call it "potatoing" lol. In anycase my guess is Dustin and Roddy talked this shit over before the match and since it was going to be a streetfight at Wrestlemania the biggest show of the year Dustin probably told Piper to go ahead and punch him for real during the close up so that it would really sell the feud.
