Chamberlain was speaking about wanting to solve the Sudenland problem without war. (Hitler was trying his best to be sure that none of the demands he made could be met so that he could go to war to solve this "problem" in the end he had to settle for a peaceful solution. That was not what Hitler wanted, as he was to show soon after.

The Sudetenland was German speaking thus there was no appeasement. When the Germans took over Prague Chamberlain turned hostile to the Third Reich and it was Chamberlain who declared war on Germany. "Appeasement" is a group think interpretation of history which isn't accurate.
