  • What a gem this song is. An instrumental departure at the exact right moment on the album's tracklist, and it always makes me tear up just a little when I listen to it.

  • *Colours

  • since the first time i cry

  • profond,ce sont des génie de la musique...

  • dark night, home alone, just you looking at the moon listening to the wind

  • why do i feel deep love when i hear this track?? Seriously this is an intense love song... its overwhelming... beautiful!! brilliant Ronan just brilliant!

  • Victory not Vengeance!! <3

  • partly reminds me on minecraft :o

  • I love listening to this one while I'm just walking alone in the rain during the night, it makes me feel so calm, sometimes I even have a certain someone come to my mind...

    VNV Nation FTW.

  • Amazing song. Still one of my favorite bands of all time.

Can anyone point me to sheet music or something to help me decifer this piano part? I tried on my own but I don't have a good ear unfortuantly.

  • 33,437 people and I, should have a marijuana party.

  • this gives me goosebumps.. so beautiful

  • i love this song so much.. i love VNV so MUCH! when i saw them live for this tour.. i CRIED when they played Darkangel.. i hope they tour again soon!

  • I thought this sounded like Minecraft music...I didn't feel sad when I listened to it, I felt peaceful.

  • @DW282828 It's admirable for people to even admit... Crying doesn't need to have anything to do with self-pity or being weak. It's also letting yourself be touched by the power of sound, being empowered (or even overpowered) by it. Finding yourself in music.

  • It's beautiful.

  • Strangely familiar.

  • Zero dislikes! Dang!

  • watch?v=HiSSidg6cc4

  • Can anyone send this song to me please?

  • I listened to this over and over again when I tried to talk someone out of killing them self.

  • This is amazing. The emotions they put into this song one song. I'm already crying and it's my first time hearing it! <3

  • it doesnt matter how you spell it its al about the music...

  • lol Ronan Harris is Irish so its hardly a british band. VNV all the fuckin way :P

  • .Irish, with a last name like Harris?

  • @windmoveswater

Yes believe it or not not all Irish people are called O'Flaherty and Fitzgerald you tool. My second name is Tipping and I'm Irish. Look him up, Ronan Harris came from Dublin

  • you a klugscheißer -.-' so search it in google translater ;)

    vnv nation is bombe ^^

  • The actual spelling is "Colours of Rain." VNV is a British band, thus use British spelling.

  • StoneCold, it's a European band, not a British band. You use European English pronunciation when it's that kind of spelling.

  • 1. They are a European band, since VNV is based in Germany, but both members are from Britain.

    2. The actual album (which I own) spells it "Colours."

    3. You meant "spelling" not "pronunciation." All words are pronounced the same no matter the spelling.

  • Yes, based in Germany, but members from other parts of Europe classify it as a European band since it's a conglomeration of talent.

And there's actually a division of "spelling pronunciation," just like there's "voice pronunciation". But society is weird and doesn't count the little things as actually being something.

  • first time: I liked it

    second time: I loved it

    third time: I'm crying -___-

  • Listen to it in a dark room. Ironically, everything becomes clearer.

  • @StoneColdSergio I totally understand that/

  • great song,i love it,great band...

  • Vnv nation is one of those one of a kind bands their music touches and makes you feel and think... this is one of my fav pieces the piano is so hypnotizing and sad yet beautiful..:)

  • i love this song

  • VNV Nation is amazing.

I can't discribe it .... but their songs just touch your heart.

This song has no lyrics, but the melody of it is just wonderful.

I don't know why but I actually almost cried while listening to this!

  • You can never resist crying when you hear this song for some reason...

  • Makes me think of music in the Heroes of Might and Magic games sort of

  • something happens when i hear this song i don´t know what it is but my mind gets in blank vnv nation rockz!!

  • I have never heard of the band VNV nation. But now I am listening to all their songs. And I love them very much. Great emotional melodies and harmonies. Strong lyrics. My kind of music. No rock or real drums and guitars.

  • @cantforgetyou i've been a fan of vnv nation for a decade and they never cease to amaze me. they're music is strong and their lyrics thoughtful. there are few bands than can meld lyric and melody very beautifully. vnv nation is proof that electronic music can be just as expressive, if not more so, than a band with guitars and drums. not to mention their live show is always full of energy and mark and ronan are always so appreciative of their fans.

  • @nikidoll82 Totally agree with you!!!!

  • The first time I heard this song, I actually started crying because it's so beautiful. I love it so much.

  • This is such a beautiful song, I love it. =) Its very very calming, nice but a tad sadness... I can't explain it. Hehe love it xxxxxx

  • Id love to learn this song (;

  • Cool. VNV Nation rocks!

  • Very nice song, very classical compared to most of Ronan's other works. I could imagine this being a movie or game theme.

  • i know what you mean, i seriously could imagine this in a movie or a game, it keeps reminding me of this old ps1 game called Galerians for some reason, must be the feel of it.

  • I could see this in Final Fantasy 8 when Squall was in space trying to catch Rhinoa as she was drifting about, you know the part right before they boarded the Ragnarok space ship and had to fight all of those propogators?

  • Somehow or other I've only ever played one Final Fantasy game before in my life, FFVII I think. I wasn't into turn-based combat then so it didn't appeal to me. I know the new games aren't turn-based anymore, but I haven't had the time for console games lately. (Plus I have no idea where the power cord to my PS2 went.)
