  • Super punch out was too easy, however tysons punch out when you got to him was way too hard, my nintendo controller had bite marks in it lol (thats not a holyfield ear joke either) then comes along the new wii punchout and trust me unplug the nunchuck cause when u try to do stuff and it doesnt happen it gets frustrating. Still though these games are perfect its like every character is an end stage boss and you constantly can try to best your previous KOs for replay value. Still never beat MT.

  • Cheers for this vid. I beat SMM for teh first time a couple of days ago. It took many attempts. It's that fucking spinning punch that always gets me. I always go to the side instead of ducking it

Back in I think '97 when I played Mike Tyson's Punchout once again for a while, I suddenly got so good that I could beat Super-Macho Man in1 round as well as beat the game, but then I played again one night in 2003, but the furthest I was able to get was up to Soda Popinski. I know it can be easy, but you need that practice or you get rusty.

    Mike tysons the hardest person to beat in the game (obviously) and he's not even too hard once you figure out his patterns. peace dude.

  • i never played this Punch Out..but it doesn't look as good as the original..and they don't have the same music either, like the Bout Theme, I'm not sure if there's the classic jogging one.

  • Its definitely not as good as teh original. but its still a sweet game.

  • yeah is there a training sequence in this one like after you beat a couple of guys like in the original where you beat the Major Circuit and then it shows Mac jogging with the empire state building and it's playing that awesome music, is there like one of those sequences in this one?

  • No, unfortuantely there is no jogging scene in this one :( I know what you're talking about though... I played the crap out of Mike Tyson's Punch-out. I can even beat Mike Tyson ;)

    Anyways yeah, theres no good cut-scenes in this game, but its fun for trying to beat fighters as fast as possible.

  • what I meant was, there's no Mario, the original has Mario as the referee, plus there's no physical appearance of a referee, you just hear a guy yelling out "1, 2, 3.." etc.

They should make a new Punch Out for the Wii and bring back Mario, and change Little Mac's hair back the way it was, and bring back the training sequences and all the old music.
