I have to say this. I am always skeptical of Hinn. He dropped the ball in the Benny Hinn exposed video. But I have always thought that he was a warlock. I have to admit. Paul did say he went to the third heaven and did not want to talk about it, but others saw Heaven and wrote books of the bible like Revelation, where heaven is described. If someone says they have seen Jesus this is not reason enough to discount what they say. Millions of people have seen Jesus, and when I was healed of a serious head injury I saw Jesus. The disciples saw Jesus after he had died. I am not saying these things to defend any ministry, we must use discernment.

Yes, but when I have tested such "visions" of Jesus against scripture, they were not in the least lined up with scripture. People are saying they have seen "extra" biblical things, and visions of Jesus. When John saw those things that are written of in revelation they were for a VERY specific purpose, and they always brought glory to God it was not "I SAW jesus." Everything that isn't tested and is taken at face value even if the person in the vision says they are Jesus or appears to be.

Some of these scripture references are ridiculous. 2 Thes 2:9-12 is talking about how the anti-christ when he comes will perform counterfeit signs and wonders. There is no reference of counterfeit healings before the anti-christ comes.

i personally believe that God has the same rule on talking about this stuff (third heaven encounters, etc...) as with prayer and fasting - Jesus said to pray and fast in secret rather than in public "to be heard/seen of men". Yet, gatherings like TheCall (and Benny Hinn conferences) have people praying publicly. It's okay to pray in public or say "i'm fasting" AS LONG AS you're not doing it to say "LOOK AT MEH LOLz!" - if you can't talk about going to heaven with humility, don't talk about it.
