It depends on the county on Ohio. Some counties require a license some do not. If the county or municipality requires it usualy the owner will have it and plumbers will work under that license. No one is going to spend money on a lisense they do not need. Joe Biden and Barry Sotero have never worked a real job besides leaching off tax paying citizens so how would they even have a clue about any trades licensing.

I have spoken with XM managers. They won't TOUCH Karel. The one's who know who he is say:
1)He was only a weekend host.
2)His mistake was one of an amateur.
3) Blamed it on his engineer.
4) And most of all, "Karel isn't very smart or entertaining".

What I have gathered, after speaking to management of several well-known stations is that the fallout from Karel's rant (and other things) has Karel pegged as "damaged goods". None of the stations in larger markets want to be connected with Karel. AND the fact that Karel blamed it on the engineer tells them that Karel doesn't understand Broadcasting basic,and has not learned his lesson.. No one else wants the possibility of a million fine that KGO is facing!

PS: A response to Joe Scarborouogh's "faux pas"--using the f-bomb on TV. A little tiny bit of knowledge will bring understanding to why Joe is being handled differently that Karel. Karel's job as a Broadcaster was governed under the rules of the FCC. Joe's program is not. It is governed under rules of cable televison. That's why shows like the Soparanos with MF in every other line can run on that segement of television.

Bet management is glad to get him off the air. Listen to John Rothman or Dr. Bill. They come from a point of deep understanding. They stick to the facts, as they know them and can talk to callers who are in opposition with them.

John Rothman is one of my favorite talk show hosts for that reason. He's very polite to his callers, even to the bigots he doesn't wail on his callers like ray and karel for sure, but they both are entertaining to listen to.

I've been listening to him since the beg. If you're halfway intelligent, you'll know he isn't right or left wing. He was just a very interesting guy to listen to because he talked about everything, not just politics. Also, he was the youngest on-air personality at KGO which was very refreshing. Especially since Wattenburg changed. Eh well, they fired Savage from Marin and he ended up national, maybe this is what Karel needed...Good luck dude!
