Wow. I found this video hoping to find a clip of Ms. Rashad from "The House of Bernarda Alba" in which she recently played the title character. I felt very inspired and uplifted by her words. I was raised around theatre people, so I can really appreciate what she said: "theatre is about... people coming together."

@gimpy10 I'm a theatre major and every single thing she said, even the words she used, my professors say to me DAILY. In America, we're taught acting is easy and that it's all about emotion. But it isn't it. It's completely physical and requires an extreme amount of discipline and diligence. Theatre IS about community and is a beautiful and necessary part of the human culture.
