I own the Rushmore DVD and Soundtrack and the version of the song in this clip sounds like the version recorded at the Rolling Stones Rock n' Roll Circus in 1968, which is not the version that Wes Anderson put on the original soundtrack. I'll have to double check the DVD to make sure, but something tells me that whoever made this video put in a different version of the song. I like the Rock n' Roll Circus version better myself, actually.

I also point this movie out to people who are critical of the modern film as not standing up to the Classic films of the past. Throw in Tarantino, the Coens, Scorsese, Spike Lee, Ang Lee. Nuff said?
