  • i got an oatmeal stout that i am going to add my yeast to as soon as it gets the right temp. my house is 75 but i was told to go to 70 but i was going to try to get it down to 75 and add yeast . the yeast came in a box and it's kept at 75 but i hope it does not die.. every one said it's ok but it said keep retrgfagtor

  • every beer video i watch every one says something else then the last guy. one guy said all beer should be at 70 because it will die. this guy said to put it in a cool dark place.

  • @aaronlovespott it is all about beer style here. Ale vs Lager is the key. When doing a lager it MUST be cold fermentation. For all Ales, unless you are really concerned with consistency of your batches, you can ferment around room temperature. Preferably in a basement or garage though.

  • thanks man, relay helpful
