I think you missed a bit out with the blackberry thing - with os 2.0, the tethering will be extended to using the keyboard and trackpad/touchscreen on the phone to be used as typing and trackpad inputs, respectively (I might be mixed up with the way the trackpad input works, but it can be used in conjunction with the tablet)

I've always wondered why the US Mobile Contracts are completely different to the way the UK do it, I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 on Orange in the UK with 400 minutes, Unlimited Text, 750MB data, unlimited music and Mobile TV for £31 a month which would be $48 to you. I never paid upfront for the phone either...

Why does America charge upfront for the phone PLUS a 2 year contract, it really does confuse me alot... if you could explain this for me I will be very happy :)

@024689az Asus Trasformer Prime. Apple fucked us over with the iPhone 4S (No iPhone 5) so why shouldn't they do it with the iPad? Plus, Android is amazing, as good as iOS, I think a little bit better because of all the customization options. Plus, the Transformer Prime has Quad-Core, which I don't think the iPad 3 will have, and it will get Ice Cream Sandwich. Plus, you don't have to wait and then see that the new iPad sucks and feel stupid for waiting.

WII U WILL FLOP The most successful games are made by 3rd party developers. Nintendo can only go so far with mario amd zelda. The 3rd party developers are not going to be bothered to port their games over to the WII U's completly diffrent controller. Ps3 and xbox have the same controller template just diffent button names. Why do you think some CODS are on wii but not all. Why do u think BF isnt THINK and the next gen ps and xbox will blow wii u away

The reason most games are not ported over to the Wii from the 360 or PS3 really has nothing to do with controller. It has everything to do with power. Developers spend so much time optimizing their code to try to have it run at a smooth 60FPS on the 360 and PS3. Every now and then they must have it run at 30FPS.

@229prime Well.. Apple just had a keynote and they announced the Textbooks. They are probably getting ready for a big 'announcement' event which will probably happen in Early February at the earliest. However, the iPad 3/2s will probably not be released until March.

If I were you I would just wait around and see what the iPad 3 brings. If it's much better for you because it has Siri and Retina then wait. If you're not impressed, just get the iPad 2 :)

And once theres a new version of IOS, its available for all apple mobile devices. Ice cream sandwich is still only available for the Galaxy Nexus.

@Jer0meLey Get an HTC Rezound. It may not have a 5 inch screen, but it has a 720p display, which is insane for a 4.3-inch screen and had a dual-core 1.5GHz processor. Plus it is MUCH cheaper and has HTC Sense built in to it. sounds like a really good deal to me.

Although, if a tablet is your choice, definitely the Asus Transformer Prime.

The only reason that you have to pay so much more for the unlocked version is because you don't pay for a contract.

Plus, the HTC Rezound has a resolution of 1280x720. That is 720p on a 4.3 inch screen. IT LOOKS BETTER THAN THE IPHONE RETINA DISPLAY. And I think 4.3 inches is really good for gaming, I can play games nicely on my iPod Touch 4G (3.5 inch)

@Jer0meLey Plus, one thing I hate about Samsung is that the overprice phones almost as much as apple, plus they don't have the amazing customization options that there is on HTC Sense. You have the beautiful widgets that are bundles, you have a lock screen that can have custom icons for different applications, and lots, lots more features. Did I mention that it looks gorgeous? Specially with a 720p display?

Although, you can also buy the HTC Sensation XL. It also comes with beats and htc sense, and it's got a 4.7-inch screen, almost as big as the 5.3 inch screen on the galaxy note. Only 0.6 inches less. Only problem, the HTC Sensation XL uses a one-core processor.
