Just brilliant! Whet the appitite with some good footage of the 'dog-bones', etc, then the first sign of a 'rael'trian is the tell-tale plume of smoke from behind the hill. Thos things are alive! Thanks heaps.

Why "...the last broad gauge steam to Albury..."? Has there been an official ban on steam traction?

The BG is getting standardised in the next few months.

That means eventually, no broad gauge steam anywhere. Loco's plinthed. That's progress - I think.

Certainly in the short term, but there is hope- hopefully R766 will appear again sometime in the future, and there are loose plans for J512 to be brought back on SG.
