  • 1:40 on this video...the susppose to be a high way there, not water :D

  • I live in Iola as well. I live like 4 blocked away from the flood zone.

  • My house was flooded. It was in Fredonia Kansas. It's several years later but it's still kinda like yesterday....

  • in texas the flood is about the side of missisppi

  • I live in Indy but our house was not flooded. I was just telling my husband the other day that all through tornado season, people say " don't worry, we are surrounded by water- we wont get hit." Yet the very thing that saves us from one tragedy actually creates another tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with the flood victims.

  • Thanks Joey, we are in Indy but were high enough on Penn Ave. we were safe.

  • I live in Iola Kansas where 300 people lost their homes too. My brother had 5ft of water in his house (he lived right next to Neosho river)South east Kansas is a disaster area now!!

  • Sorry to hear that your brother house got hit by the flood. I had the same experience back in 93' when my house got 5 feet of water in it, we actually got hit twice by floods and both times lost everything.

  • The flooding in southeast Kansas is by far the worst I've seen, and it's even worse with the oil spill over in Coffeyville.

  • looks the same on hwy 400 east of parsons, Kansas

  • My parents and sisters live in Osawatomie thanks for the video

  • Great vid! I live between Erie and St. Paul KS, so I know what you mean! Where all did you shoot this from?
