The embargo does not explain why Castro does not allow freedom for farmers to go and produce more crops. It doesn't explain why Cubans can't go into their own resorts. It doesn't explain why increased trade throughout places like Mexico and Canada has not helped Cuba any.

Noah Chomsky's book is excellent reading but he forgets that many of his people are alive because the USA helped defeat an "evil empire" that the Nazis were trying to create. That may have beent the case then but it is not now. Backing Israel is the right thing to do because it has RIGHT TO EXIST.
