2:35 looks really big i want that Hp where can i get it on amazon? i've search but there are a lot of Hp Touchsmarts which one is the best one? some1 help me :)
@adrianbachmann1 Hi! This video is 2 years old. The latest models are the HP TouchSmart 610 and 520. You should be able to find them on HPShopping, and you can find more information at HP dot com slash go slash touchsmart. Thanks for your interest!
I am intrested in "HP Touchsmart 600-1220". I have some questions:
1) Can I play online fps/rpg games?
2) Can I watch movies in 3d? (with the proper glasses and movie)
3) Dumb question: What software does it have?
4) Is it any laggy?
5) Will any better Touchsmart Computer come out in the following 3 years? (Asking this because I am not in a big hurry of buying a computer at the moment )
6) Is 7200 rpm good?
7) Do I need to buy speakers?
8) [ONLY FOR THOSE WHO USE IT] Is it comfortable to use?
I need some help please how do I connect my xbox 360 to this pc when it doesnt have any input for audio or video. It only has the small slots for the hdmi inputs but I have the standard compositve cable for my 360. Does this mean I have to buy a hdmi cable with two same heads and if so how will the audio work throught this dont you still need the red, yellow and white plugs inputted?
@iwannabethekid34x I'm not sure if it's completely impossible. You might want to check out the support forums to ask. I know that it would void your warranty if it has not already expired.
@DannysVevo Sorry you're having trouble with your PC. I've not heard of this problem with the TouchSmart 600. You can call our support line at 866-408-5408, or check the HP consumer support forum on line to search for more information.
@iwannabethekid34x Hi again. Sorry, but no. The HDMI connection is not available on the 300, it's only available on select 600 models (and the new 610).
how do i disconnect the keyboard to use on another computer? I thought i found a reciever in the back but i can't pull it out and I'm scared to try too hard.
@TheGoatAttack Actually, this video is over a year old. The best choice would be the HP TouchSmart 610 if you're looking for an HP all in one that can handle some (not all) games. For a tower PC, please consider the HP Pavilion HPE h8 for gaming. Thank you!
@rajeethan1 Select models of the HP TouchSmart 300 do have a TV tuner hookup to enable TV viewing. The TV tuner plug in spot will look just like where you plug in a TV cable to a TV. If your model supports TV playback, the tuner plug-in would be on the back of the system, right behind the stand. Enjoy!
@halo3rt32 Thanks for checking in! If you want to play your console on your PC, you should consider using the HP TouchSmart 610 and the HDMI-in connector. Select models of the TouchSmart 600 and TouchSmart 610 support console playback directly. Thanks!
because you guys went down from 25 to 23 on the hd ones you lost a buyer i went with the imac just because of that, that might be a stupid reason but would have got it if was 25 but still like it and want one lol
@Urb3nhood I’m sorry you’re having trouble! Not all models of the TouchSmart 600 have an HDMI port. If yours does, it would be on the top-left side of the system. Check out the pictures on the HP.com support pages -- the pictures you’re looking for are in the section titled “Left side of the system.”
@gshockkid96 You can access several additional ports from the back of the TouchSmart PC! On the back of the system, there is a set of ports behind an easy-to-remove panel (which helps you keep all your cables neat). Simply find the finger holes and lightly pull the removable door away from the system. You’ll find USB ports, digital audio, Ethernet, and more, depending on your configuration. Let me know if this helps!
Problem: Touch doesn't 'work' well vertically- your arm begins to hurt after surfing the internet for 30 minutes or more. If you're a teacher or someone that usually holds your arm up, writing, for an extended period of time, you know that the arm tires quickly. Point: Touch works horizontally, not vertically.
@pbsewell Yes, but it's nice to have. And you're not limited to touch. You can use the mouse like you would a regular computer. It just comes down to if you want to spend an extra $100 for the touchscreen. I would, because I'm big on drawing and it would be easier to draw with a touchscreen, as opposed to a mouse, in a program like paint.
@franklongbottom1632 I know that you're not limited to the Touch, but that was a non-listed point. Because your arm will begin to tire, you won't really use the Touchscreen, therefore wasting your money.
@pbsewell If you aren't going to use applications or software that involve drawing, yes, your point is valid. But as I said, there are people who would like to use MSPaint with a touchscreen. This is why some people buy tablet computers.
@pbsewell Oh, yes, I understand; I wasn't disagreeing with you concerning those that desire it, like yourself, for the reasons you stated. I'm simply saying that it is a waste if you just think you're going to use it for surfing the internet, you are going to waste your money-You probably won't use the touch screen for that because your arm will tire.
@JimmyFlip901 I think it's a great idea, but I work for HP. This video is a year old, the latest model is the TouchSmart 310 and it's even better. Check it out at your local retail store...PC Magazine gave it an Editor's Choice award.
@Rezillien I'll leave it to everyone else to respond, but note that our latest model, the TouchSmart 310, is rated very highly by PC Magazine (Editor's Choice Award).
@12cazzie Yes, the HP TouchSmart PC does have wifi. Note that this video is a year old and some improvements have been made to the touch interface. You can see the latest version on the hpcomputers YouTube channel. Thanks!
I have a HP TouchSmart 600, but I don't know if mine have a HDMI or an RCA input for the XBOX 360, because at the area of the HDMI A/V and RCA Input there is a black cover, I don't know if I can remove it by a way, or they made it like that so I wouldn't open it because there is no HDMI, A/V or RCA Inputs.
@kimphat18 Yes, the back panel can be removed -- simply pull on it firmly. If you have an HDMI connector it will be on the left side panel at the top (in the same area as the power button on the opposite side). Thanks.
@afinnie Can you precisely explain me how to remove it please because I was trying to pull it out but it didn't, does it have a trigger to be push or pulled?
@kimphat18 I’m sorry you are having trouble! Be aware that there is no back panel to remove on the TouchSmart 300 series—all the cords plug in directly to the back. On the TouchSmart 600 series, your left hand should be able to grab the little opening slot, if you are facing the front of the PC. The opening slot is just above the gray “foot”, near the bottom of the system. It only removes a small section to input your cables…no need to pull the whole back cover off! :) Good luck!
@afinnie Please help I have the hp touchsmart pc 600-1120 and i cant find the hdmi input i already find the one that you have the little opening slot but the hdmi input suppose to be up that and there is a black panel and i cant remove ! :( Thaks
You can definitely watch TV on a TouchSmart! Select models come with a TV/coax input to plug in your TV signal directly. However, be sure to check with your provider for instructions on connecting to a PC, since depending on your type of service (cable, satellite, etc.) your connection setup may vary.
@stalker0005 The top-level graphics card currently available on the TouchSmart 600 is the nVidia GeForce GT230. Please consult the game minimum/recommended hardware requirements to see what they recommend. You can also check the latest product reviews at websites like PC Magazine and CNET -- they tested the TouchSmart PC with some of the latest games
Afinnie, it's not a matter of money as it is value for your money. It's just that I know HP will come out with an improved version. How long will I have to wait?...or should I get it now? I'd hate to get it & HP comes out with a newer version 6 months later?! I really like this computer!
I'v had my eye on this computer since I heard about it. I'm really just waiting for HP to come out with the next version....better & improved? Cause, everyone knows that a computer is outdated within the first few years. I wanna get it when they improve on their customer feed back & such. This computer is one of it's kind so I'd like to wait. I'm sure they'll follow iPhone trend & come out with a new version with add-ons that could've been on the original...can't blame them for trying to make s
I am going to purchase the 600 edition when I get my college money in a few weeks. It seems HP.com offered the best deal. I may want to play games but mostly wii. Also, can you get facebook and myspace app? On the HP website the computer I want is the 600t series. I customized it for core i5, 4GB, 1TB hard drive, windows 7, wireless-n with bluetooth and added tv tuner w/ remote. Is the tv tuner built in? Is i5 fast? And how are the speakers because most computers built in speakers stink.
@msdragonfly22 Great to hear that you're interested in the TouchSmart 600t! Looks like you've built a solid configuration. The Intel Core i5 processor offers great multitasking performance as well as Turbo Boost technology which increases processor speed when needed (in certain applications). When you add the TV tuner option, it is built right into the system and can be found on the left side (as you're facing the PC) in the back behind an easy-access panel where the cable inputs are located.
@msdragonfly22 The audio from the built-in speakers should fill a room without a problem -- and if you plug in headphones or external speakers, you get to enjoy HP Beats Audio, a specially-engineered sound system by HP and Dr. Dre. It’s AWESOME. There aren’t HP TouchSmart apps dedicated to Facebook and MySpace at this time, but we’re always looking at new apps—so stay tuned! Hope that helps—and good luck starting school!

@xxdiex4xanimexx Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear it’s not on there. Are you in a country outside of the US? Sometimes, the software offerings can change between regions of the world.
@afinnie thanks! :) ive got Hp Touchsmart IQ-510LA with Windows vista; so here is the question: if i install Windows 7 in my computer, will i get an upgrade to multi-touch rather than the single touch?
@mexi1994 Windows 7 does indeed open up plenty of new multitouch features! You will see some added multitouch functions, but you should also get in contact with HP support if you'd like to upgrade the HP TouchSmart software to the Windows 7 version.
@afinnie thanks :) also what is the difference between the three? i noticed that online these 3 models all have a significant price difference, and so i was just wondering whats the differences? thanks alot! :D
@PGumphrey The biggest difference is the processor. The 1055 has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the 1150 has the Intel Core i5 processor and the 1155 has the Intel Core i7 processor. The 1150 and 1155 have a terabyte of storage and the graphics card is more powerful at the higher price points. If you look at them on the HP website, click on the "specs" folder and you can see all of the differences. Hope that helps.
@afinnie ok thanks! :D i have one more question, last one i promise lol :P are these available in canada? because all of the stores i went to they said they didnt carry them.
I heard that these units are horrible for high-end games like GTA IV, Fallout 3, and Call of Duty 2: Modern Warfare. Also, I am not familiar with these units...sometimes I am in the mood to do some gaming but at other times I have to get serious do some work in Excel, Word, Access...etc. In between that I may want to look at some family pictures and organize my albums. How easy is it to change from one mode to the next? Was I misinformed when I was told that they're bad for gaming? Thanks.

Please consult the game minimum/recommended hardware requirements to see what they recommend. It's very easy to switch from the TouchSmart UI to the Windows desktop. You can minimize or close the TouchSmart interface with one tap.
@andyrooney11 ok the best card they have for it at the moment is the GT230m. Its a brilliant card. i can run any game up to crysis on it (high graphics in all areas) it has 1gb of dedicated video ram, and a great shader. The card can run all games u listed on highest graphics smoothly as long as the processor also meets up to the specs. in this case it does. However the better platform is the 600 im picking one up tomorrow so i can message you on the performance if you would like
You rock! That would be great! Look forward to hearing from you again. I'm really interested in buying the 600 model so I'd love to hear from someone who knows computers and has tried it out. Also, just to clarify, are you talking about the 600-1120 or the 600-1155? Thanks!
hi. i have a question on the wireless keyboard on the back my batteries are dying and do u happen to know how to open the back bc my wont come off and its to hard and im scared ill like break the keyboard
@thedarknesstelie Sorry to hear you’re having trouble! The AAA batteries in the wireless keyboard are easily replaceable. If you flip the keyboard over, there are three little grooved lines on the top, where the battery cover is. If you push up on those lines, the cover should easily pop off, revealing the batteries. Hope that helps!
i heard of pandora the website application program there here near my city in California . The buying music program . Its still new , i have a single album thinking of putting it on their in time
------------------------------------------------- hip hop artist
Certainly! The latest TouchSmart 600, with the Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GT230 graphics, can handle many of todays top games. For some of the more demanding titles, you should check out the Pavilion Elite HPE series!
Also, be sure to check out reviews of the TouchSmart 600 for more complete graphics benchmark results. Good luck!
@tom11zz884 Actually the ipod and iphones are just tiny ipad's lol i can't watch movies on my ipod the ipod is more of a music player.. You guys must do a lot more than i do.On my iPad I go on the internet,, watch movies on netflix, play games, read books, go on youtube, yup it's the same thing i would use a netbook for xcept the ipad is light and looks pretty lol. I already have a huge laptop but i bought the ipad so i wouldn't have to lug it around.
You would think after the first generation not having this, they would have learned and made a standard VESA back end to this unit... Guess it takes them a while...
Most people with an LCD TV in kitchen have it wall mounted (standard VESA), these units could have replaced those if they could use the same wall mount out of the box (VESA), but sorry they can't.
Nice try, but big oversight on the VESA plate.
Yes you can try to find a 3rd party adapter plate, but they are never in stock...
@GabaniiTTho95 Thank you for your comments. You would have to ask some of the people who have purchased the TouchSmart PC - or read some of the product reviews. You won't be using touch for everything, you'll still use the keyboard and mouse, but in my experience if the PC is at the right height and angle, the touch interface makes it so easy and fun to use!

Hi
I have a HP TouchSmart 600, but I don't know if mine have a HDMI or an RCA input for the XBOX 360, because at the area of the HDMI A/V and RCA Input there is a black cover, I don't know if I can remove it by a way, or they made it like that so I wouldn't open it because there is no HDMI, A/V or RCA Inputs.
Thanks.
kimphat18 1 year ago
@kimphat18 Yes, the back panel can be removed -- simply pull on it firmly. If you have an HDMI connector it will be on the left side panel at the top (in the same area as the power button on the opposite side). Thanks.
afinnie 1 year ago
@afinnie can you precisely explain me how to do it because I was trying to pull it but I couldn't remove it.
kimphat18 1 year ago
@afinnie Can you precisely explain me how to remove it please because I was trying to pull it out but it didn't, does it have a trigger to be push or pulled?
Thanks.
kimphat18 1 year ago
@kimphat18 I’m sorry you are having trouble! Be aware that there is no back panel to remove on the TouchSmart 300 series—all the cords plug in directly to the back. On the TouchSmart 600 series, your left hand should be able to grab the little opening slot, if you are facing the front of the PC. The opening slot is just above the gray “foot”, near the bottom of the system. It only removes a small section to input your cables…no need to pull the whole back cover off! :) Good luck!
afinnie 1 year ago
@afinnie But is there an opening slot to remove so I would have access to the HDMI, A/V and RCA Inputs?
Thanks

@afinnie Please help I have the hp touchsmart pc 600-1120 and i cant find the hdmi input i already find the one that you have the little opening slot but the hdmi input suppose to be up that and there is a black panel and i cant remove ! :( Thaks

@daantjed42 I believe you are looking for an HDMI port and we only offer that on some models of the TouchSmart 600 PC. Sorry!
afinnie 1 year ago
@afinnie Okay, but does this mean I cant watch TV on it too?
I heard I'd might be able to using a TV Tuner but I'm not sure.
daantjed42 1 year ago
@daantjed42
You can definitely watch TV on a TouchSmart! Select models come with a TV/coax input to plug in your TV signal directly. However, be sure to check with your provider for instructions on connecting to a PC, since depending on your type of service (cable, satellite, etc.) your connection setup may vary.

Is i5 fast? And how are the speakers because most computers built in speakers stink.
msdragonfly22 1 year ago
@msdragonfly22 Great to hear that you're interested in the TouchSmart 600t! Looks like you've built a solid configuration. The Intel Core i5 processor offers great multitasking performance as well as Turbo Boost technology which increases processor speed when needed (in certain applications). When you add the TV tuner option, it is built right into the system and can be found on the left side (as you're facing the PC) in the back behind an easy-access panel where the cable inputs are located.
afinnie 1 year ago
@msdragonfly22 The audio from the built-in speakers should fill a room without a problem -- and if you plug in headphones or external speakers, you get to enjoy HP Beats Audio, a specially-engineered sound system by HP and Dr. Dre. It’s AWESOME. There aren’t HP TouchSmart apps dedicated to Facebook and MySpace at this time, but we’re always looking at new apps—so stay tuned! Hope that helps—and good luck starting school!

@mexi1994 Windows 7 does indeed open up plenty of new multitouch features! You will see some added multitouch functions, but you should also get in contact with HP support if you'd like to upgrade the HP TouchSmart software to the Windows 7 version.

hey afinnie, i am interested in the hp touchsmart 600 pc, but i was wondering, do all the 600 models come with hdmi input? or just the 600-1055?
PGumphrey 1 year ago
@PGumphrey The HP TouchSmart 600-1055, 600-1150 and the 600-1155 are the models that have HDMI. Thanks!
afinnie 1 year ago
@afinnie thanks :) also what is the difference between the three? i noticed that online these 3 models all have a significant price difference, and so i was just wondering whats the differences? thanks alot! :D
PGumphrey 1 year ago
@PGumphrey The biggest difference is the processor. The 1055 has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the 1150 has the Intel Core i5 processor and the 1155 has the Intel Core i7 processor. The 1150 and 1155 have a terabyte of storage and the graphics card is more powerful at the higher price points. If you look at them on the HP website, click on the "specs" folder and you can see all of the differences. Hope that helps.

Thanks.

afinnie 1 year ago
@andyrooney11 ok the best card they have for it at the moment is the GT230m. Its a brilliant card. i can run any game up to crysis on it (high graphics in all areas) it has 1gb of dedicated video ram, and a great shader. The card can run all games u listed on highest graphics smoothly as long as the processor also meets up to the specs. in this case it does. However the better platform is the 600 im picking one up tomorrow so i can message you on the performance if you would like

thedarknesstelie 1 year ago
@thedarknesstelie Sorry to hear you’re having trouble! The AAA batteries in the wireless keyboard are easily replaceable. If you flip the keyboard over, there are three little grooved lines on the top, where the battery cover is. If you push up on those lines, the cover should easily pop off, revealing the batteries. Hope that helps!

TheBeatlesDreamScape 1 year ago
@TheBeatlesDreamScape
Good luck!
