His voice has changed a bit but you can still here the voice that sang Youth Gone Wild and I Remember You ect. Skid Row made a big mistake losing this singing god! and Rob Affuso with his awesome drum skills.

So-called Grunge bands of the 90's were actually considered punk rock in the locals of Seattle before they hit the mainstream. Most of the Nu-metal bands stole there sound from Korn, who had their own sound when they came out.

Totally agree. He's a very talented singer with an incredible voice. But country doesn't suit him. Completely different set of emotions and style needed to perform country. You can't just apply your pop voice and cowboy hat. This sounds trite and unrealistic.
Not knowing his history.. I would see this not believe he ever had a drink. Not trying to cap on the guy, but give this song to the late great Keith Whitley, Hank Williams 1 or 2, Merle Haggard, and i believe you would see great it could be.

(Not even Pearl Jam are a huge deal now. According to your logic, they've been 'destroyed' by Lady Gaga and other autotuned 'artists.' LMAO!) Music genres don't survive on network television and magazine covers, but through true fans who don't give a damn about that unimportant stuff not related to the actual music we love.

@bogslug Grunge didn't destroy metal. It only washed away the trash that accumulates with any genre after the initial emergence of it. And most grunge bands were brought up to the big time by metal bands. Poison brought up alice in chains, guns n roses brought up STP. And where is grunge now? DEAD. And metal bands are still going strong. Who cares about the mainstream or the top 40. That's not what metal is about.

@bogslug ...and it shows how much you know about music.. So-called nu-metal is not a mix of Grunge and Industrial. So-called Grunge bands of the 90's were actually considered punk rock in the locals of Seattle before they hit the mainstream. It was radio DJ's that labeled it Grunge because of the stripped down look of the band members in comparison to the glam 80's bands. Most of the Nu-metal bands stole there sound from Korn, who had their own sound when they came out.

He still sounds good. I like the song. I like his voice. I have always liked his voice. Sebastian Bach isn't a country singer, but all-in-all, it's a good country song, and he did a great job.

wow... i was looking up some old skid row stuff for the hell of it and was wondering what sebastian has been up to recently, and came across this. I like the old country, waylon jennings, hank, johnny cash, willie, all the legends, but i cant stand newer country. it just has no feeling to it. the old stuff was real. now its just cowboy hats on talentless models. all that said I was actually expecting to laugh at this video but its pretty good. it has a little bit of older feel to it.. good stuff

IMO the song itself does not suck it is a good country song but what makes me a little upset is that seeing him do a style of music like country just cripples and limits his high octave vocal talent but it is cool that hes trying new stuff one thing ive always respected bach for.

Totally agree. He's a very talented singer with an incredible voice. But country doesn't suit him. Completely different set of emotions and style needed to perform country. You can't just apply your pop voice and cowboy hat. This sounds trite and unrealistic.

Sebastian is just so damn versitale. I seen him do this country ballad, and rap, Honestly he should have won that show. But to hear him morph into a demonic classic metal song and then back into a ballad makes Baz the ultimate total package. I am gonna see him in Feb at the Starland here in NJ.
