  • JOHN ARCH IS LEGEND !

  • Real FW is back, search Arch / Matheos

  • The singer sounds a lot like Rik Emmett from Triumph.

  • Man the sound is so crappy on the tube, going now to put the vinyl on...!

  • amazing song

  • For as long as I have listened to FW I really feel that both John and Ray are great vocalists. They are to me almost similar in range and tone. Would love to hear them do a duet.

  • i think paralells and no exit where truely there best work they really shined on those albums

  • I love this band the first two albums are the best. I must point out that this guy had to be influenced by Bruce Dickinson. Listen to Powerslave, major similarity in the vocals. Definitely not taking anything away from FW its more of a compliment due to the fact that they are very original. If you like this band you would like Helstar another great mid 80s band before it got ruined by Girly Metal..

  • @rengoff66 Of course Bruce Dickenson was in a band called Samson at the time...not really recognized.

  • @1216saab ??? Number of the Beast was '82...

  • Fata Morgana is my #1 followed closely by Anarchy Divine off what i believe is their 2 best LP's.

  • this is great FW, but i have to say that no exit was the masterpiece. No disrespect to john arch but i think ray is the better vocalist

  • @fireguye4 : I have followed FW over 25 years and as you may guess I'm partial to John Arch. I agree that technically Ray Alder is a better vocalist and his vocal tone is really good, especially on PSOG, love that album. But John Arch was very unique in that he approached his vocals like a melodic instrument. You can hear this especially on The Spectre Within and Awaken the Guardian how he overdubbed his vocal harmonies to create a melody line while the guitars played backing rhythm. FW \m/ !!

  • @vindude1968 my friend.. you are absolutly correct. been following fw since 1985. cant argue logic

  • One of the best FW songs, and in my opinion easily their best album, even though fanboys will say that ATG and SW are the best ones.

    BANG YOUR HEAD!

  • @gorgolbutt i agree i like this one best if your talking from here to atg...all time i like perfect symmetry.

  • I agree with Bridge 1961 it´s 1 of the best fucking Fates Warning´s songs

    CHEERS!!!!!

  • Check out Vic the original Guitar player for Fates playing bass with Ct band Sinis Gally in the 80s.

    Just type sinisgally

Its at the allycat in CT in 1988

  • this is the first i`ve heard this band believe it or not. and I think i`ll be listening to them for quite awhile after today. METAL UP YOUR ASS

    !!!

  • great band

  • For me 1 of the best Fates Warning songs ever.

Hopefully they will return towards their old style, the style of the last 10 or 15 years is not mine.
