Salaam alaikum. When converting, you need to declare Shahada to two Muslims. Shahada entails the following:

Ashadu alla elaha ilal lahoo wa ashhadoo anna muhammadar rasuoolul lah.

Am I correct?

hey, im quite confused, i know this part very well, but i want to ask, am i supposed to say the following after shahada? 'allah humma suellay muhammadin wa alla ale muhammidin kama sulaita alley ibrahima wa ala aley ibrahima innaka hummid um majeed. allah huma baraka ala muhammadin wa ala aley muhammadin kama barakta aley ibrahima wa ale aley ibrahima innaka hameed um majeed.. where do i recite this part in the prayers??? please help..

I thought the shahada part was supposed to be ash-hadu elaha il-lal lahoo wa ash hadu anna muhammad-an abduhu wa-ra-sooul-lahu.

There are several versions of the shahada. The video describes the most common. You may also recite the version you wrote. But you typed a couple mistakes in your version, Ash-hadu al-la elaha.... also the final word should be wa-ra-sooul-luhu

Bismillah. During Qiyaam, the standing, you may recite any part of Quran. However, this video is recited while kneeling, and is not Quran. Quran should not be recited while kneeling.

I need help! im fourteen and my parents never taught me how to pray, my dad is busy all the time,my mom dosent know and dont have enough money for teacher is it my fault?

As-Salamu Alaykum, the bare minimum for the salat is "Allahu Akbar" in the beginning, followed by alFatihah(videos 1-2) and "As-salamu alaykum" side to side in the end. The rest you can learn with time, but should not postpone praying if you don't know yet. The parts you don't know, you just do the movements slowly. If you have learned the tashahhud(video 4) then recite that while sitting. May Allah accept your prayers and fast and make them easy.

The tashahhud is wajib(very important but not mandatory). You can sit quietly during this part. However, something wajib is very important and these videos will insha Allah make it easy to learn by the mercy of Allah

As-Salamu Alaykum, Good Question. Arabic is written and spoken differently. Whenever AN is followed by LA, the N becomes silent. Also we say Muhammadar Rasoolul-lah, but it is written Muhammadan Rasoolul-lah. The R swallows up the N.

random boi. go slow, reverts need a lot more time and guidance than many. certain versions of translated Quran are more accepted by muslims. Facebook has so many helpful muslim people out there. There is a group in english "so you think you know islam?" it's a wealth of information and loving open hearts....Being you are young I assume you have a facebook account. I would consider buying the Qur'an and buying a book that teaches you about how right our religion is, such as The Truths of Islam and such, go to a mosque in your area and talk to someone there about your confusions and look for pray guides that can help you when you first start praying. I hope that helps :)

look for masjid's in your area, most of them have classes to help you understand the religion. Buy a Quran and begin reading (I suggest a Holy Quran) that will also help. Look for Islamic stores in your area they have many books and pray that God guide you on the right path.

As-Salamu Alaykum. All that is absolutely required to say in salat is the opening "Allahu Akbar" followed by surah Fatihah, then "As-Salamu alaykum" in the end.

All the rest is optional. You can make any dua in your native tongue during sujood(bowing down) and rukoo(bending over) and sit quietly in tashahud(kneeling).

Fatihah is very short and can easily be learned insha Allah with the first two videos in this series. It is necessary to say Fatihah in Arabic. May Allah make it easy for us.

Thank you for your question. What you have written is correct. It is the same as the video. The way Arabic is written is different from how it is spoken. That is why your English appears slightly different from the video. Your's transliterates the writing, and mine the spoken. Recite in salat just as in the video. Check "The Prophet's Prayer Described" for other variations if needed.
