Asalamu Alaikam, Thank you soo much brother I'm 13 and arabic but I've always had trouble memorizing Shahda. But thanks to You and this amazing guide I know! THANKS YOU BROTHER! MAY ALLAH BLESS YOU! :
hey, im quite confused, i know this part very well, but i want to ask, am i supposed to say the following after shahada? 'allah humma suellay muhammadin wa alla ale muhammidin kama sulaita alley ibrahima wa ala aley ibrahima innaka hummid um majeed. allah huma baraka ala muhammadin wa ala aley muhammadin kama barakta aley ibrahima wa ale aley ibrahima innaka hameed um majeed.. where do i recite this part in the prayers??? please help..
SALAAM, I AM A VERY NEW MUSLIM AND I HAVE GAINED ALOT FROM ALL YOUR VIDEOS AND WITHOUT THEM.. I WOULD BE LOST... PLEASE CONTINUE TO MAKE VIDEOS... ALSO I HAVE A QUESTION AFTER STATING THE PROPHETS NAME AND THE NAME OF ALLAH (EXAMPLE: WHEN SAY PROPHET MUHAMMAD *********** MUSLIM GIVE HONOR WHICH MEANS PEACE AND BLESSINGS BE UPON HIM... BUT THEY SAY IT SO FAST... I DONT UNDERSTAND CAN YOU HELP?
There are several versions of the shahada. The video describes the most common. You may also recite the version you wrote. But you typed a couple mistakes in your version, Ash-hadu al-la elaha.... also the final word should be wa-ra-sooul-luhu
@amansiddiqi1 Jazakallah Khair brother! SubhanALLAH, my mom asked me about it this morning and thnx to you I'll be able to answer. May ALLAH SWT reward you and your family in this life and the hereafter with the highest levels of jannah. Ameen. See you on the other side insha'allah!
* Love the FREE online lessons! I ve found some extremely useful Sample Pages of the World famous "THEGOLDEN BOOK OF ARABIC" (Search it on FACEBOOK / YOUTUBE.) I used to think Arabic was the worlds most difficult langauge until I came across this Golden book of Arabic. Highly recommend it to all those who are still struggling to learn it. This book teaches MSA (used in news and media) in a way that it helps learn daily spoken Arabic. Many Great VERB TABLES with uses Like your work2 Bravo!
Bismillah. During Qiyaam, the standing, you may recite any part of Quran. However, this video is recited while kneeling, and is not Quran. Quran should not be recited while kneeling.
"When the hypocrites come to you they say, "We bear witness that you are the messenger of God."* God knows that you are His messenger, and God bears witness that the hypocrites are liars." [Quran, Sura 63:1]
"God bears witness concerning what He has revealed to you. He has revealed it with His knowledge. And the angels bear witness as well, BUT GOD IS ENOUGH AS A WITNESS" [Quran, Sura 4:166]
These videos are extremely helpful. I thought I knew what I was saying for Tashahhud, but i was saying it wrong. This is helping me correct my mistakes. Thank you very much. May allah reward you.
I need help! im fourteen and my parents never taught me how to pray, my dad is busy all the time,my mom dosent know and dont have enough money for teacher is it my fault?
And now i have to learn all by myslef!!! Can i only do the first part if the tashahhud when praying because i find the Shahada confusing. plz reply it"s ramadan and i need to know so i can fast! reply ASAP
As-Salamu Alaykum, the bare minimum for the salat is "Allahu Akbar" in the beginning, followed by alFatihah(videos 1-2) and "As-salamu alaykum" side to side in the end. The rest you can learn with time, but should not postpone praying if you don't know yet. The parts you don't know, you just do the movements slowly. If you have learned the tashahhud(video 4) then recite that while sitting. May Allah accept your prayers and fast and make them easy.
@koolkat417 AsalamaAliekum Don`t worry go on the right sites and you will be on the right track inshallaah Or if you have and Muslim friends they could teach you Inshallaah
The tashahhud is wajib(very important but not mandatory). You can sit quietly during this part. However, something wajib is very important and these videos will insha Allah make it easy to learn by the mercy of Allah
mashallah this video really helped me learn i am 16 and was very scared to tell anyone that i didnt know how to do shahada. this video really helped may allah bless you for helping me learn .
As-Salamu Alaykum, Good Question. Arabic is written and spoken differently. Whenever AN is followed by LA, the N becomes silent. Also we say Muhammadar Rasoolul-lah, but it is written Muhammadan Rasoolul-lah. The R swallows up the N.
random boi. go slow, reverts need a lot more time and guidance than many. certain versions of translated Quran are more accepted by muslims. Facebook has so many helpful muslim people out there. There is a group in english "so you think you know islam?" it's a wealth of information and loving open hearts....Being you are young I assume you have a facebook account. Also follow videos of Yusuf Estes here on youtube
I would consider buying the Qur'an and buying a book that teaches you about how right our religion is, such as The Truths of Islam and such, go to a mosque in your area and talk to someone there about your confusions and look for pray guides that can help you when you first start praying. I hope that helps :)
look for masjid's in your area, most of them have classes to help you understand the religion. Buy a Quran and begin reading (I suggest a Holy Quran) that will also help. Look for Islamic stores in your area they have many books and pray that God guide you on the right path.
As-Salamu Alaykum. All that is absolutely required to say in salat is the opening "Allahu Akbar" followed by surah Fatihah, then "As-Salamu alaykum" in the end.
All the rest is optional. You can make any dua in your native tongue during sujood(bowing down) and rukoo(bending over) and sit quietly in tashahud(kneeling).
Fatihah is very short and can easily be learned insha Allah with the first two videos in this series. It is necessary to say Fatihah in Arabic. May Allah make it easy for us.
This does not need to be done any faster. It is at perfect speed. This is much needed for new Muslim like me to learn. I do not speak any Arabic and all these words are new to me. Shukran for these videos they have helped me sooo much.
About that shahada. Isn't it right if u say: Ashadu an laa ilaaha illa allah wa ashadu anna muhammadan rasul allah. I'm just thinking, because I've seen and heard so many different "versions" about
Thank you for your question. What you have written is correct. It is the same as the video. The way Arabic is written is different from how it is spoken. That is why your English appears slightly different from the video. Your's transliterates the writing, and mine the spoken. Recite in salat just as in the video. Check "The Prophet's Prayer Described" for other variations if needed.
Please put surah alaq on here .

Salaam alaikum. When converting, you need to declare Shahada to two Muslims. Shahada entails the following:
Ashadu alla elaha ilal lahoo wa ashhadoo anna muhammadar rasuoolul lah.
Am I correct?

Shahadah does not require witnesses. Search "Conditions of Shahadah" for explanation
