well actually it was a the random fighting song for the original final fantasy vii game, but in advent children, the composer used a piano arrangement as soundtrack for that fight. You can also find arrangements of other game songs in the movie, though

lol. i totally agree with you, however, i just realized that if FFVII spanned 4 cds... you figure approx 650mb per disk x 4 would be approx 2.6 gigs or so... typical NES carts were somewhere around 4-8mb depending on the game so if you do the math you would need about 435 nes carts to play through. lol. i know, the size of the data would ultimately reduce due to the 32bit and 8 bit differences i.e. movies and music, but just a thought that popped into my head when i read that. -_-

Well, you can't beat the OST because it has that air of nostalgic beauty and just plain crazy awesomeness that is hard to recreate, be it on Mario Paint or anything else.
