I actually remember he was scheduled to do a guest spot onthat show Live Line back when B&B Do America came out. Well he backed out at pretty much the last minute because in his words he didn't want to talk about sex. Ironically about week or two later he hosted his own radio show on my favorite station, as though Beavis and Butthead were actually there rnning te equipment and stuff. All the music was from the movie and Beavis tried to play his shlong on the record player. Funny stuff LOL.

I know this speech is a bit dated but have to say that I am a little surprised that his public image and demeanor is much more serious and less on humor compared to the humor rampage that his characters are on all the time.

I can never understand why Mike Judge doesnt like doing Beavis and Butthead in public. Every time his in an interview or something and someone asks him to voice them, he looks annoyed. Beaver and Bunghole is probably his most memorable work, yet he usually lets Beavis or Butthead only say a couple words and then a laugh or two. Being a successful cartoonist should obligate him to entertain his fans just a little bit more.... Reguardless, Mike Judge is the man and one of the best there is.

I so appreciate Mike Judge's lifepath , that diverted him into creating Beavis-n-Butthead and King Of The Hill. He created a lot of ideas for me and my friends.

Thanks to Mike Judge , for having the guts to not get stuck in a career he didn't like, just because he had a 4 year degree in a field of study. Thanks for not stagnating like so many people do when they really should move on.

on the other hand i was offended by his display and useof the racial slur "gringo" in several of the episodes.

to normalize such bigotry in cartoons directed at young people is bad. a man of academia should know better. he created a sweet-poison similar to alchohol and its euphoric but destructive effect. would he be loved if he drew backdrops with spic or wet back or had his characters speak these slurs, i think not.
