these shoots have no time restrait so i spent about 4 hours at the club with kim. in the end about 400 photos were taken, that was edited down to about 100 that i worked on and a final delivery of 80 images
Very nice photo shoot indeed Dom! I really like the dramatic lighting you have done here with Kim. Which, by the way, is a great model and I think she looks lovely in all your shots.
I am looking into some umbrellas and stands for my SB-600 and SB-800s but not sure what the best ones to get for the money. Can you say which ones you have or suggest some?
Thanks so much and Happy Holidays to you and yours and everybody out there! Be Safe!
Hey Dom luv your stuff and glad to see your business is taking off so well .How about doing a vid using your backup fuji camera and getting into what you like about it> I shoot sony and have been looking for a second camera but want one that might do some different types of shots than my sony and that I have to use as is no extra lenses or toys.
Hi Dom, I really liked this shoot. I recently had a problem in lowlight. I was at the Christmas party for my work and it seemed that every shot I took was either dark or blurry, whether I used flash or a tripod. Any tips for a party like that and no real good equipment? I use the Canon XSi and I have a 75-300mm lens and a tripod. I have been getting into photography since last Christmas. Thanks, Mike
HI Dom, i love your work! I'm addicted to it, so thanks very much for sharing your knowledge with us all, its great! However the different light sources you used on the lovely model, her legs looked cold and face warm, were you going for that look??
the raw edit looks a lot better, these were small jpegs that i quickly shoved in. but having it on flash white balance makes the fack a lot more red and not good. much better is white balancing for tungsten givng a more blue look but acurate face colour
May be your best video! Agree, very interesting and educational. More of this sort of stuff please ;)

Nice photos ^^
Your videos are incredibly interesting to watch (Aswell as educational :) ) So thanks for posting them!
One question I have, is during a single shoot, about how many photos would you take/edit?
Thanks
-Aaron

Great work dom.
7:13 I dont like it perhaps because the main light is too strong on her face and that makes her skin tone varies between cold and very hot.
WB maybe? WB For the flashes and not for the main source?
Sorry my English :/
