LOL you couldnt hit anything with the guns the Russians had. At the range the were shooting they were lucky to hit the ground let alone the Germans. Russian weapons were very inaccurate. and why the heck do the Germans take one hit and die yet each russian takes around ten? I hate movies like this

Because it's made by the Russians? American WW2 movies are the same ways. Broadly, the events are accurate, but of course there's a lot of dramatization involved. And Russian WW2 weapons were just fine. It's not like MP-44 is sooo much more accurate than the PPSH. And if you think the Nagant is inaccurate you're just nuts.

THe 7.62 Russian PIStol ammo used in those SMGs is unaccurate,yes, but thats just because its pistol ammo. Its still better than the 9mm in the German Mps, although it had less stopping power, like M-16 vs AK-47 in modern situation. Thats why russian special forces still sometimes use 7.62 TT pistols, though the official standard caliber is 9mm.

interestingly, this film takes place in autumn 1944, and former german chancellor gerhard schroeder's father fritz schroeder was killed in action in romania in october 1944. i think that gerhard schroeder, the adoptive father of 2 russian children, would like zvezda.
