  • They reckon after around 7 cups you start to hallucinate, gotta get me somma that! XD found an artical on it at livescience . com, searched for "Caffeine Can Cause Hallucinations"

  • Probably a good thing I cut back to about 2 cups a day then. I might have totally wigged out at some point.

  • Welcome to the ADD life!

  • If I can stay off cigarettes, you can get off and stay off coffee...

    Deal?

  • I tend to scream like that even when I'm not going thruogh a tunnel LOL love it!!

  • That was awesome! Thank you so much for brightening my day!

I have the sudden urge to go to Starbucks though . . . I didn't realize you could transfer addiction via youtube . . . .

  • YouTube is a portal for all kinds of evil.

    MUAHAHAHAHAAH!

  • It's not coffee, it's "nectar of the gods"! Oh, tunnels I like tunnels! Who did your choreography?! I like to dance, I dance a lot! I don't care where I am either..I'll dance in the *takes sip of coffee* store, or restaurant, or wherever, I don't care. Oh! I was going to say something about your video..now what was it? Wasn't there anyone at the park that day besides you? Nice park. Hey! Why do we park in the driveway, but drive in the parkway? *takes another sip of coffee*

  • Just woke up and need at least one cup to catch up to where you are right now.

    LOL

  • Addict here.

  • Addicts UNITE!

  • I hate that feeling... Pencil... Stencil.. ..Potencil.. I was told I had a lot of potencil when I sharpened my pencil to use with my stencil... UGH! I hate this feeling, I've had too much coffee... coffee.. ..Toffee.. Mojave... ;-)

  • LMAO!

  • Haha, happens to me when I drink a large can of RedBull really quick on an empty stomach.

  • Yikes, that WILL do a number on ya.

    LOL

  • Coffeecoffeecoffeecoffee

  • booooobeeeeeez!

  • Exactly why I Don't drink coffee.. Best video ever!! Now I am singing that!! lol

  • LOL

I don't know how you manage to stay off the java, but I envy you, THAT'S for sure.

  • I haven't had caffeine in about 9 years. Now I remember why I gave it up in the first place....

    :)

  • WOW!!!

I didn't even make it to a full year.

    *in awe*

  • When I drink too many coffies I get a headache :s

  • I'm insensitive to stimulants like caffein so I have no idea what that feels like but you did a pretty good job of conveying it. I do however know what that crazy 'all the ideas pouring out so fast you can't fully think them' feels like Cheers, Lesley

  • Oh wow, I'm very envious of that.

Lately I keep thinking "it's time to do another collaboration" and yet no idea will gel. Hmmm. If you can manage to harness any of those crazy ideas you have, let me know and perhaps we can conspire.

    :-D

  • It's often the middle of the night when I'm trying to sleep and my heads running without brakes...next time it happens I'll know who to call LOL. L x

  • LOL! (I'm not laughing at you...but with you!)

I totally know this feeling! Thanks for sharing this video! hehe

I definitely don't have the will to stay off coffee, it draws me back in...every time!

  • It has some sort of mystical powers, doesn't it!

That's okay, I've totally given myself over to it. If it were a cult, I'd turn my worldly possessions over as well.

    (scary but TRUE!)

  • LOL

I hope for your and my sake that there isn't such a cult! eeek

  • happens to me ALL THE TIME!!!

  • LOL - thank you for the validation.

Hey, will you be around for the YT Live festivities next weekend? Not sure if I'll be able to get into the main thing YT is hosting, but I've booked my flight and will be there for the weekend at least. WOOT!

  • Ha ha ha ha ha ha... I think I'll go and brew myself a cup right now.. :)

  • WOOT!

    Hope it was yummy

    :-D

  • Weeeell... you seeeee... it's liiiike, thiiiiis. Ooooonce, you geeeeet.. occustoooooomed to iiiiit. You doooooon't reeeeeeallly nooooootice theeeee caffeeeeeeenne, aaanymooooore.. ya seeeeeee?

    (not coffee, Diet Pepsi) :D

  • It's a good thing I've had my morning coffee today otherwise I'd be looking at your comment and not noticing anything out of the ordinary.

    8-)

  • Oh my gawd. It's heinous. It's a heinous mistake!

Naw - just a student in exams. After 1st year I had to swear off coffee after finals as I had had so much I couldn't sleep for 2 days and then slept for 5. My room ended up condemned and they burned the clothes I was wearing. Didn't touch the stuff for 20 years.

  • OMG....you're cut off, dude!!!! Actually, no way, 'cause this is WAY too entertaining!!!

  • ...wow.

You were too hyper to be stoned. I mean...that's what I've heard. From people who have been stoned. Cuz like, I wouldn't know.

  • OMG...Someone call A&E!

    We need an "Intervention."

Pour me a cup, but add some Kahlúa, Please!

    (((Hugs)))

    ~Mimi

  • Coffee doesn't effect me that way anymore, :(

but give me a few espresso shots and thats a different story:)

  • Hmph. You need to liven up your vids, Curt. Not enough going on. Not enough excitement. Maybe some more coffee will help...?

  • I want to be like you. lol You're my hero! :D

  • Are you back on the coffee Curt?

Have we not spoken about this before? Lol!!

  • Thanks. Still off over one year. Wait until having any creates a sleepless night, then you will be glad to stay off.

  • I have been slipping on my caffienne intake too.. I try to ask for decaf whenever I go to the cafe, but sometimes I forget.

  • hold on, I thought you were on the decaf...

  • Tunnel freaks!...heheheh I love riding through tunnels on my motorcycle! And we wonder why you went to decaf...hehehehe I think I need a valium (sp?) after watching this...hehehe (speaking with a Nyquil hangover...argh!!!) Wait a minute, wasn't that the SAME tunnel? I suspect a fraud here!...hehehe

  • At first I was like "he's not honking!" Then you did! You HAVE TO honk in a tunnel, dammit! I love Broadway Tunnel in SF, 'cause it' has a great tone with my Honda's "beep" horn.

Coffee doesn't affect me that way anymore.

  • Wish I have had too much coffee. Going to get some now! Thanks for the reminder!

  • Speaking for the stoner segment. It does not do the same thing for you as coffee. What was the question again.

I am waiting for someone to video you in these park settings. Something like. Hey look at that crazy guy over there dancing in front of his camera. LOL

  • wow. Well, let me explain to you something. I never drink coffee and I still do everything that you just did.

I honk while going through tunnels and scream, I just a minute ago had this really fast and insane conversation with myself, and I dance while chanting.

So you aren't the only one that is hyped up. Welcome back to the insane crowd Curt!

  • LMAO!!! I kicked the habit about 3 years ago. Love the retro coffee shuffel! Thanks, Grams

  • You're most likely better off. I'm still thinking that after the stress of school is behind me I can try again.

But OOOOOH how I love the taste and that warm feeling in my tummy...

Hey, I've rejoined Twitter (ditched the account before midterms so I could force myself to concentrate) and have had trouble finding you again. I'm on there now as OhCurtzilla344.

  • I quit twittering, haven't closed the account, but it just wasn't for me. Thanks, G.

  • fuc is that what coffee does to people?

  • I'm not sure I'm regular people, so this study is neither scientific nor representative.

  • stoned on coffee, have another eh,, btw we canadians are addicted to this coffee called tim horton coffee omg sorry i think i just had too many all ready but i want another coffee , did i tell you that i love coffee, yep i really do , omg i am going on and on and on i thing i had too many coffee but i want another cup ,,yep i feel soo good lolmaybe stoned on coffee ,,thats it ,, sorry i have to get off coffee i am looking up rehab for coffee drinkers ,,

  • Tim Horton - yeah, Wpgpeanut gives that high marks.

And if you find that rehab center, let me know. We can go pick up those people and take them to Tim Horton's.

    WOOOOOOOOO!

    :o)

  • Um curt... put the cup down...

  • *clutches cup and mutters "precious, my precious"*

  • And I can drink a whole pot and it dosen't effect me that way. You nut, and I say that with affection lol

  • I'm a coffee nut, it's true.

    8-P

  • try

    decaf??

    ((curt))

    *tori*

  • Been there, done that, got the T-shirt, fell asleep while celebrating my victory.

    ;-)

    (((Tori)))

  • People who are stones are not suppose to more mellow?

I thought people on speed are the ones moving in ultra violet speed.

  • ok this is why you are not suppose to comment while you work ;-)

I meant people who are "stoned"

  • I won't tell on you, I promise.

And good point. This might just be the equivalent to a drug trip played at 45rpm.

  • Tunnels FTW! :D

A life without caffeine is not a life!

  • "...is not a life" - LMAO!

    I agree.

    :-D

  • so now you need a valium or something like that to slooow down again.

  • I'm lucky if the humane society doesn't pick me up and decide I need to be put down!

  • Intentional nearly rhymes with pencil or was it accidental?

  • Well your astute referential confirms your credential, and all this talk is making me mental.

  • You really are a hoot!

  • Aw shucks, Chuck!

    :-D

  • haha, drinking coffee is definitely more fun than alcohol.

  • Yes, and the effect is decidedly different. LOL

  • *hahaha* You simply THE BEST!!! =o))

    (((hugs)))

  • You make me blush!

    :-)

    (((Amelia)))

  • Now you know why you gave up caffeine! ;)

Although i don't drink a lot of coffee, i can't say i've ever really noticed the 'buzz' you're supposed to get from the caffeine. I'm obvioulsy just not drinking enough of it.

Was it my imagination, or did this video suddenly speed up in the middle?

And people say i talk too fast! :)

  • Andy, I promise there was no alteration of the speed of this footage.

Wish I could say there was, LOL.

My problem is I keep refilling the cup. It's just another habit on top of this one, I guess. And I really do forget to eat sometimes, which is just not healthy.

    Let's face it. I'm a mess.

    8-)

  • Stay tuned for the further adventures of "Too Much Coffee Man"!

  • Well if I keep up at this pace, I'm likely to start wearing my underwear outside my pants accidentally.

    So this name might fit!

  • I bet you're great fun in wedding conga lines. LOL

  • I'm hell on other people's feet, I tells ya.

And there is video evidence of me in a conga line at a 1987 wedding. That couple was divorced within a few years.

Not saying there's a direct relation between my bad dancing and that failed marriage, but then again... we'll never know for sure.

  • That tunnel looks familiar. Were you near concord?

  • This comment made me hungry for grapes.

It's over by the Long Beach airport, so maybe.

  • OMG motor- mouth much?! You sound like my son when he's had too much sugar ROFL.. damn I'm jealous of the nice sunny day you have.. it's cold, windy, rainly, and grey here across the pond.. Ha England who knew?

great vid Curt SEND ME SOME SUN.. NOW !!

  • If your son ever jumps up and down randomly like a pogo stick during his sugar rushes, then we might be related.

Even at 40, I've been known to do this.

Oh, and I'm sure you'll all be sharing the wealth weather-wise soon enough. This is typically our crappy, rainy season (although February is always worse).

  • Well you had a good long run without the caffeine anyway. I gave up soda about 3 months this summer which was about all I could last. Actually I seem to give up soda every other year for 3 months. I do drink caffenated soda (no coffee for me) but really can't tell that it affects my energy level at all even if I drink a huge amount. This boring comment was brought to you by Blinkazoid. WOOOOOOO!!!!! :)

  • Hey, that was a good 9 month stretch that I went without totally diving back in (although I did have a few cups of regular every once in a great while, so technically that was cheating).

And your comments are never boring.

  • i hate driving in a tunnel and narrow bridges...mikma was here

  • I'm sure Dr Freud would have something to say about this!!! BradThunder was here...

  • *Honks at Mikma*

    WOOOOOOOOO!

  • OK, now I can't shake the mental picture of you playing that Rimshot sound effect over and over again!

  • The sound was deafening, I'm sure. But I couldn't tell because my eyes were too glazed over.

The cats did leave the room, however.

  • LMAO.. isn't if funny that we never really change our coffee dance style?? As cute as you were in this video, I think you OWED us the sequel where you crashed once the coffee wore off. *grin*

((((((Curt)))))) Thank you for being YOU!!!

    ~Angie

  • (((Angie)))

The crash came while editing - and I seriously sat here looking the footage wondering, "have I completely lost all my marbels??"

  • Okay ppl who put the crack in Curt's coffee??? This was friggin hilarous. lmao Stayin off coffee is for suckas. :)

  • LOL - Whitney Houston came by all wigged out again, so she must have spiked my pot.

    ;-P

  • I do that song and dance too many times a week at work. The only way to get off coffee is to take those caffeine pills for weight loss. It doesn't surpress your appetite but you cut way back on coffee.

  • Someone else was suggesting that. Wow, I never knew this.

And a diet pill that doesn't do what it says it does? OH GO ON!

    ;-D

  • Awesome... =)

  • Not as awesome as your hat.

    GIMME!

    8-D

  • Coffee?? Did you give in to the caffeine SIN-sation?? lol. I been addicted to those little expresso shots in the convenience store...the one with the warning of ..limit two a day? VERY good hypersensitive stuff!! Love it! :)

  • Those sound like the equivalent to hooking yourself up to a car battery via jumper cables, YOWZAH!

And, yep, I'm a sinner once again, PRAISE TUBESKANKE!!

  • *giggle* Curt, honey! Let me make you a cup of tea. Come and sit (Offering you a little cucumber tea sandwich). I'll put the kettle on. :0)

  • *mutters something indistinguishable that appears to be gratitude while his eyeballs continue to dance in a random pattern*

  • We don't have those tunnels in WINNIPEG... and omg Coffee? it better be decaf... omg... jitters? omg

  • Nope, it was regular.

Craig needs to make mARIA a sandwich!

    :-D

  • Oh goodness! You were having too much fun! Thanks for sharing it with us; I enjoyed your silliness a lot.

  • Better this silliness be in a video than on the road, YIKES!

    *Thanks, Liz*

  • hi curtlet. was that the tunnel by LB airport? when we were little we'd beg my mom to honk the horn throughout the entire damn thing (or any tunnel for that matter!). i'll admit i still do it when i am driving down in the lbc on a visit.

  • Good eye! Yep, that was it. My dad would do the same thing with me when I was little, at that very same tunnel.

Tunnels NEED to be honked at from the inside, right?

    :-)

  • HONK, HONK! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

  • THAT'S the spirit! LOL

  • Did you have too much back in 1986 as well? LOL

  • :-D

Back then it was probably too much pop.

  • POP - definitely a west coaster like me :)

My mom's family all say soda.

  • I sometimes get confused thanks to my years in the Midwest. It's either "soda" or "pop" depending on... which way the wind blows, I guess.

  • omg..I thought I was watching me! lol..lets have another cup..or 3..or....

    Gr8 vid! :)

  • Thanks, Captain!

    :-)

  • coffee is amazing. quit? NEVER

    too much? NOT POSSIBLE

  • Coffee may very well be my soul mate.

  • Wow! I had too much coffee today, but obviously not as much as you. :) It was great to watch tho, so glad you shared it.

  • Hey, I'm still chuckling over that dream you mentioned in Twitter.

    :-D

  • Geez, I need a valium after watching this!

  • LMAO!

  • I have never had that much coffee, but I will attempt to tomorrow. ((CURT))

  • ***Proceed With Caution***

    ;-)

  • You forgot to hold your breath through the tunnel to make a wish! I held my breath through the tunnel, does it work that way for me even though this is on video? I held my breath both times :)

  • You and some others here are just now educating me on this. A serious revalation, no joke!

Not sure if it worked, but if holding your breath meant that you were able to survive this video, then CONGRATS!

...at least, I'm assuming you're still alive to read this...

    8-|

  • Oh boy...

  • There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright, JOJ...

  • Curt,

At this moment I am enjoying a cup of wonderful coffee. WITH ALL HONESTY, I am SO HAPPY you're back on the REAL STUFF!!!! A few videos back you made mention you were having coffee with caffeine! WELCOME BACK TO THE "OTHER SIDE".....

Awesome video. I aspire (in my mind) to be that CRANKED!!!!

  • Too funny - Ronnie, I have to say, the mornings are just cozier and friendlier now that I've given up the resistance.

And if you have to deal with other humans in the course of a day, you might not want to be THIS cranked.

  • LOL! I don't know if stoned people have this much energy. But I have witnessed people who have missed their meds for several days in a row, acting this way. LOL! Just kidding. Just say NO to the coffee. (This said by a confessed coffee addict).

  • HA! Good point. Someone on that kind of a high would likely be very mellow.

As for someone going off their meds, I'm too afraid to think about it.

    :-)

    COFFEE ADDICTS, FTW!!!

  • HaHa, what brand were you drinking? I can drink 8 or more cups a day and I never get hyped up. Black tea is what does it to me.

  • Black tea - I should try that, actually.

Folgers is my sworn ally every morning, although occasionally I pick up a cup from a chain called Tully's (it's good, but not as yummy to me as Folgers).

  • Sounds like my life on a daily basis.

  • And yet you appear quite sane.

    :-D

  • Other drivers are just too freakin' picky, I tells ya!

  • Coffee and Tunnels what more could a man ask for?

  • Coffee helps clean out tunnels.

    8-)

  • yikes! maybe you should just go for crack and get it over with.... : P

  • Cool - I've always wanted to go to the Bette Ford Clinic.

    YAY!!!!

  • I always knew you were bipolar.

  • Not true!

    I only date guys.

  • After decades of drinking two or three pots of coffee a day this will not happen to you anymore.... Not saying it won't be replaced by something else....

  • I'm suddenly thinking I should position myself near a restroom at all times in the future...?!

  • favorited.

  • Cool, THANKS!

  • can I consider this a double booty latte ??

when I consider giving up caffeine I think hmmmm do people want to deal with the hyped up sorta nice girl or the no caffeine in her system bitch?

I NEVA let the bitch win :)

    DRINK ANOTHER DRINK ANOTHER!!

  • I was dancing to "Homecoming Queen's Got A Gun" in that clip, just so you know.... there may be some deep meaning in that here, I can't be sure...

    (((RickRollShot)))

  • Ok, lets see, which assessment should I use.

  • Cover your eyes and throw the dart. Where ever it lands, chances are it's the right answer.

  • Wow, you really like tunnels.

  • That's what she said.

(not sure why that was the first thing to come to mind... let's blame the caffeine)

  • I didn't know you could have too much coffee. Lies! ;)

  • LOL

  • I trust the wisdom of your user name.

    :-)

  • I hate coffee, but i've had that effect from about 3 or 4 Redbulls.

  • From what I've been told, only one Redbull will do that.

Then again, depending on how long you've been drinking them, you may have built up a resistance.

  • The synapse's have a gap between that sparks like a sparkplug. Coffee cleans and fires those synapses. But without the benefit of nutrition, the sparks go everywhere.

  • Great way to put it. I was definitely all over the place here, yikes!

  • First, I love tunnel videos! Second, I went off caffeine completely from 1992 to 1994... it was not easy. I slept about 12 hours per night for about the first 5 weeks. When I came out the other side, I felt good. Then, after 2 years, I tried a Coke... I cleaned my apartment. The next week, I tried it again.... now I have a double shot mocha daily. Oh well. There are worse vices.

  • Two years is a good stretch (or painful, depending on your POV).

And YES there are worse vices - like YouTube.

    ;-)

  • I can only tolerat two cups. You need to switch to decafe or even the half decafinated coffee.

  • I love the taste of either regular or decaf (people always say there's a difference in taste, but I've never noticed it), but since the regular is so readily available, I've decided to resign myself to this weakness - at least until the end of the semester.

    :-)

  • Fun video, loved the clip at the end.

Stormy says "Serves you right. :-P"

    (almost 9 months) ;-)

  • WTG, STORMY!!!

Hey, if anything good came out of all this, that right there is it.

    :-D

  • omg..this is so funny :)

thank u, it cheers me up on this very cloudy day.

  • Ah, excellent. But sorry to hear it's gloomy at your end.

Chicago weather getting more harsh now?

  • LOL curt, i love ya! i know the feeling. i wake up every morning with an energy drink, and while i am in the shower i have the best brain storming sessions ... BUT NO PEN AND PAPER! LOL.

  • And it's really difficult to write it out by scraping the bar of soap against the shower walls, right?

    ARGH!!

  • i always drop the bar of soap! :o
