  • but will it blend?

  • thati s a real nice car i have an 86 caprice 2 door im putting an lt 1 engine in it im really exited about the project i inherited the car from my dad when he past away

  • awesome! I got a 1978 two door i want to put a 383 in it.

  • Nice car. Looks like a Grand National that just started recieving food stamps....

    Love the 2 door b-bods.

Have 77 Impala and 85 Delta 88 coupes.

Wanting 80s landau and 77-79 delta coupe...

  • I would not call it a sleeper too much. should have left the paint alone. My dad had a old Malbu wagon with a 350 and a small nitrous system on it. I would run low 12's with the right tires. It has woody sides... it was a sleeper.

  • nice, but i got a 79 2 door and dat thing roars!!! my 350 turbo will run your 454!!! lol

  • Nice ride, the two door ones are very rare. My first car was an 88. Man i loved that car, still do!

  • Cool car but hardly a sleeper

  • the camaro rims dont look too bad on there

  • but they do look bad.

  • Very nice! I bet it rides like a cloud!

  • nice ride. what year?

  • u guys gonna put some other rims on be side the iroc camaro ones

  • Awesome

  • hey i have a question. do you have a low fuel light on your year caprice. i took my gauge cluster off but there is no place for a light bulb where the fuel hand goes

  • No I don't. I don't remember seeing one ever light up and I have run out of gas with this car once.

  • There is no low fuel light, it uses the check engine light

  • Ah u kno what i didnt put the shims on because when i took the old starter off it didnt have any shims on it but the flywheel looks fine no teeth on it look chiped

  • I have never put a starter on that did not need shims. Losen up the bolts and put some in and see what that does. That is the problem with starters, most companies do not put that tight of a tolerance on the starter. Keeps the price lower than what it could be.

  • im going to try that today it came with three shims and a little rod thing, im going to jus try two shims i think three might overdue it im going to let you know how it goes

  • its sounds as if its coming from the flywheel or the starter sometimes it cranks sometimes it jus scratches

  • When you put the starter on, did you shim it so the starter fit just perfect? If a starter is not matched up just right then the gear will not engage into the flywheel. Also look at the flywheel, if you can and see if you are missing a tooth.

  • it doesnt have numbers on my distributor

  • The wires do not have to match up in order to get that scratching sound. I was just checking to make sure that the distributor is engaged correctly in the engine. Replacing an intake raises the question if the distributor is sitting in the manifold correctly. Listen to the engine much closer and let me know exactly where the sound is coming from. It is hard to judge without being there.

  • i have a question i had an edelbrock intake on my 85 caprice with a holley carb. i ended up taking it off and putting an holley street dominator intake to match the carb. i had to take the distributor out and the wires when i put it back in i tried 2 crank the car it mad a scratching sound, i changed the starter now everytime i try and crank it now it makes the scratching noise do you have any suggestions like the timing the fly wheel. It was cranking fine before i took the edelbrock intake off

  • Check your distributor to make sure that it is matched up.
