Dont worry, they wont drown. I have had these crabs underwater for over a year and they have not drowned.Although, you should have some place where they can climb out of the water. The best way to do this if you have fish, would be to fill the tank halfway with water and have a log or something floating on the surface so that they can climb on it, or replicate a beach shore with a shallow area that slopes upward onto a small, sandy hill , and also, they are compatible with most fish.
can you put these crabs ina fish tank with a betta!!!!!Cause my mom says i can't put it in there cause he might drown or something!!!!!Can you put them in a tank with a lot of wateer and they won't we out of the water!!!PLease someone comment back and tell me cause i have mine in a plastic container with a little thing of water and every else is sand and a couple of shells!!!!Please respond!!!!Thanks,
These crabs are foragers, so, if you leave something on the bottom of the tank, they will immediately devour it, like a flake of fish food, or small pieces of shrimp, or lettuce, or even if a fish dies and sinks to the bottom, they will eat it. They are not picky. But if you do feed them some type of vegetable, make sure to clean it thoroughly, or the pesticides will kill them. Also, they are not aggressive towards other fish or other crabs.
So you have crabs do you

I thougt that crabs would try to fight with smaller fish like dwarf gourami and tiger barbs (when smaller). Do they?

@drumpro96 Yes, they can, if the fish are small enoughf, but they usually dont bother with them (unless the fish dies, then they will pick at it)
