Why are there Virgin 747's at Schiphol?

Their trying out a new source of fuel called bio fuel on one of the engines. If you like, this is a "test flight" and they just flew from heathrow to Schipol and back again to test the engine and other stuff. Heathrow to Schipol is an ideal time, ideal distance, and over water so if they plane does crash it doesnt kill anyone! No jokes

Primer uso de biocombustible en un avión. Se trata de un vuelo de Virgin Airlines desde Amsterdam a Londres.

Por lo que parece según algunos informes, el biodiesel emite más emanaciones tóxicas que los combustibles fósiles. La única solución que aporta es ser un sustituto próximo del petróleo que le producirá competencia y posiblemente impulse el precio del petróleo a la baja.
