is this order correct or should i arrange it.

I used Diskeeper, but it just didn't get the job done. All the files couldn't be defragmented. So I configured UltimateDefrag... and it worked. The whole thing worked. I am defragmenting right now. The fragmentation decreased from 32 percent to only 11 percent, and it's still busy, not done yet.

Not really sure what I did wrong, but I used this app today and it put ALL of my files to the very inner portion of the disc(s)--I have a raid 0 setup. Only the pagefile, and hibersys. file remained at the outer edge. After that my system was noticably stuttering and lagging--so I used Piniform Defraggler to fix things.

when i defragment C: drive the free space goes down for example it was 52GB free and when i defragmented it went to 50GB

lmao, the standard windows 7 defrag tool said my hdd was 1% fragmented, i downloaded ultimate defrag v1 and it said 39%! i set it to "auto" and in about 2 hours, my hard drive was blazing! my hard drive is pretty much the slowest 320gb hard drive you can find, a seagate barracuda 7200.9. this tool is awesome and i will get the 2008 version for sure!

Best fragmentation can be achieved by ghosting and than reghosting your system...It will put all files in perfect order and on outline of partition, but this program will achieve about 85% of that speed... (windows defragmenter will do less than 25% of ghost fragmentation)

I think you will want to specify respect archive but NOT respect performance. Reason is that, you are trying to say, IF it's in the performance folder selection then cool, but if the file being defragged meets both performance AND archive criteria, then go with archive. For a D drive with a program folder, I would say respect performance and keep entire program folder on fast part... but in example above, this would be ideal for windows/program/profiles folder on a C drive.

this helped me with a LAG problem in a game.. after defragmenting and putting the game folder to high priority - it didnt have the same weird stutter lags.. were talking about GTA IV here ;) nice program, nice tutorial!

Found over 1000 errors, but when tried to fix, it said it was a trial version, and only fixed too. If I knew how to install a patch, I probably wouldn't need this video. I click "patch" it says "can not find file" thanks for the tease.

DiskTrix UD2008 works wonders.

I clean my computer about 2 times weekly and UD compresses/defrags about 800Mb of clutter each time.
