If you haven't exposed yourself to David M. Buss, an evolutionary psychologist, you should. His studies have been incredibly enlightening with regards to how mate selection works.

Yes, women love "bad boys" until they knock them up with kids, and skip town. THEN the single moms suddenly find "nice guys" very attractive. When they have been used up by scum.

Women today are pathetic. Their first priority is a douche with money, second priority is a guy who acts like an asshole. Good men dont rank.

You're right, plenty of decent men do get shot down. If you don't carry good genes and strong male sexual dimorphism and you're also of limited resources, you'll find yourself very low on the "mate chain".
