people who say this is cheating are full of crap, this is just as viable method of painting as drybrushing or using washes. I say do whatever works for you to get the result you prefer.
yeah, there's not really any way to "cheat".... well there is, but only one.... having someone else paint yer stuff and then saying you did it yourself... anyway, thanks a lot for taking the time to leave a comment
Ive used this style of painting for all my orks, people tell me its cheating and not really painting... But i like the end product, its effective it shows basicly the same thing as layering and there is really no need to wash to bring up the detail, because if applied correctly it is applied to the raised areas of skin
so it doesnt go in the crevices

The way I did my orcs was Dark Angels green primer, then dry brush a lighter green over the top. Much easier

its a great way to paint because it makes the black look like a darker green, I use it with my war machine army all the time

Overbrushing is your friend, so is wash, lol.
