  • could this work for basecoating?

  • The way I did my orcs was Dark Angels green primer, then dry brush a lighter green over the top. Much easier

  • Good post. Real simple technique that works great. Nice job :)

  • thanks bro, glad you liked it!

  • people who say this is cheating are full of crap, this is just as viable method of painting as drybrushing or using washes. I say do whatever works for you to get the result you prefer.

    Nice tutorial Skidesade !

  • yeah, there's not really any way to "cheat".... well there is, but only one.... having someone else paint yer stuff and then saying you did it yourself... anyway, thanks a lot for taking the time to leave a comment

  • thanks so much this helped out alot cuz i hate spending so much time on one ork to make it look good! gonna sub keep up the good work

  • no problem man, I'm just glad that you liked it!

  • Ive used this style of painting for all my orks, people tell me its cheating and not really painting... But i like the end product, its effective it shows basicly the same thing as layering and there is really no need to wash to bring up the detail, because if applied correctly it is applied to the raised areas of skin

  • nice gonna use this on my ork aswell, usefull tip :D

  • glad you got something out of it! thanks for your input and thanks again for watching.

  • i have to thank you, not ortherwise :)

  • its a great way to paint because it makes the black look like a darker green, I use it with my war machine army all the time

  • cool! thanks for watching

  • good tip!
