I've never heard OM play like this before, I saw them at First Avenue two years ago shortly after Skeletal Lamping came out, and they're coming back and I can't wait to see them play this live.
coquet coqette you know i won't forget how you sold me out to prove you were typical oh my coquette you're herculean you are so miserable coquet coqette you know i won't forget how you made me cry to prove i was dutiful oh my coqette my teenage lust for you is so beautiful
coquet couqette i won't forget how you kissed me strange to prove you were mythical oh my couqette you use my voice as your ugly vehicle coquet couquette you know i won't forget how you hurt me twice to prove you were cynical oh my couqette you are the death you are the pinnacle
I saw them pre-satanic panic in the attic at a small bar in bloomington, Indiana. This means two things 1) I have watched OM evolve and have loved every minute of it; 2) I am old.
@FunAndOnly But you know, I love OM because of other things and I don't really want it to take anything from another bands, I just love their style as it is. If any other band would like to be a mix of OM and Muse then I don't mied, I can even say that I would listen it with pleasure
Amazin song, tbh I didnt expected that after Skeletal Lamping which bored me. The only thing I don't like in it is that synth at the end, it's not muse ffs, its OM
FYI, Adam Lambert's bro, Neil wrote this on his twitter page "Of Montreal is the most prolific, awesomest indie pop band in the world. New track Coquet Coquette is so good!!
@headachesymphony --- AWWW, attempt at sarcasm...... Just type his name in YT and you should get over 133,000 sites featuring him with zillion of views worldwide. OR, you can just google his name and get over 11,000,000 sites. Awesome singer!!
I totally agree. This song is a'lil bleh, especially compared to the singles from their previous LPs. This is quite ominous for a band known for their great singles.
