@Semidio36 Yes, personally I like 1H/4H combination (higher TF for trend/direction, lower TF for entry signals in THAT direction only). Back when this video was made I traded the 5M/30M combo, but since 2008 markets have been too choppy & skiddish, making longer-term swing trades far more profitable. I still use 5M during news time, however. The range trader (I think) uses 30M, sometimes 1H.
Clearly your system does not make enough money to enable you to create a decent video (AD ALERT ! ) This system is not making the OP any money or else it wouldn't be such a shoddy affair, Avoid !

I do not believe him. In order to confirm the 61.8% retracement, he would HAVE to have waited for the next five minute candle and hence, would've had to get in a lot lower then right at the 61.8% mark.
@Vij108 Right... I always recommend waiting for a new candle to open to make your decision. The idea is not to catch the absolute top or bottom, but the SAFE pips in-between.

@over2seeyer you're right, but then you are also wrong. TRADING on 1 hour is acceptable but it's not the best. The larger time frames are best because you know that the move is usually REAL. 4hr, daily and weekly are your best bets. Depending on the strategy, as I said, 1hr can work pretty well.

Not a good idea, forex trading is not like this. Forex is not a place to make you rich overnight. Especially a 5 min chart like in the video is your path to death.

3m42s went short at 237.74? How? Only after this bar you knew it had a long 'upper' wick meaning the sellers prevailed. One could try a sell stop order below that bar. Entering at around 237.20 then would have been safer. What about stop loss?
@WWWxFXOOxORG you are exactly right. Most people who know what they are talking about would never trade on such a short time frame. The second big mistake that this dude is making is that you should never anticipate that something is going to reverse just because it hit a fib level. That trade could have easily blown right through that fib level and just kept on going up. There's nothing sound about what this guy is talking about. Look at some of Nial Fuller's price action videos.
The best information I have received on trading is free from local trading groups, forums and live trading forums. Also, books are good. The good trainers are trading live and should not cost too much as they make most of there money trading. They mostly like to help others and get a name for them selfs. Stay away from forex EA's, there a few Okay ones, but hard to find them.

Are there any videos done as it happens? I´ve tried this and many things go wrong. It doesn go as smooth.
1. The retracement happens but it doesn´t resume the trend. After 2 candles it goes the opposite direction once more. Panic.
2. At the retracement, it doesn´t stop at the 50 or 60%. It just keeps toward 100%
2. When it comes back down then at 38% turns around and heads north.after you enter your trade.
3. Only 2 candles form and turns around once more

Good questions. In my real chart the retracement didn´t hit 61% but it only went to 38%. How do I know if it´s going to hit 60% or not and place my Sell?

@over2seeyer you're right, but then you are also wrong. TRADING on 1 hour is acceptable but it's not the best. The larger time frames are best because you know that the move is usually REAL. 4hr, daily and weekly are your best bets. Depending on the strategy, as I said, 1hr can work pretty well.

So stupid, this is exactly how to lose in th emarket by speculating this way. You need to just ride the waves instead of riding it every 5-10 minutes. It's safer and you can get in around $300-500 a day. So quit trying to ride every segment of the wave, instead ride the wave and make guranteed profit vs. trying to maximize profit like it's a game.

3m42s went short at 237.74? How? Only after this bar you knew it had a long 'upper' wick meaning the sellers prevailed. One could try a sell stop order below that bar. Entering at around 237.20 then would have been safer. What about stop loss?

@WWWxFXOOxORG you are exactly right. Most people who know what they are talking about would never trade on such a short time frame. The second big mistake that this dude is making is that you should never anticipate that something is going to reverse just because it hit a fib level. That trade could have easily blown right through that fib level and just kept on going up. There's nothing sound about what this guy is talking about. Look at some of Nial Fuller's price action videos.

The best information I have received on trading is free from local trading groups, forums and live trading forums. Also, books are good. The good trainers are trading live and should not cost too much as they make most of there money trading. They mostly like to help others and get a name for them selfs. Stay away from forex EA's, there a few Okay ones, but hard to find them.
