While on my hunnymoon I suffered one episode of motion sickness, I was helped all the way back to my suite, I was well taken care of and later checked on by phone call from the Captain. I was very pleased they took such great care of me and my husband!! That to this day was the best and most relaxing vaction we have ever taken alone! That's what I pay for! TLC

Money is to hard to come by and if I am paying for a great cruise I really dont care as much about the desige or innovation. Just more of the same crap from years past just re-packaged. Carnival is falling way behind in terms of design and layout of their ships. Most of their cabins look like bus station waiting rooms when you compare htem to the Garden Suites on NCL or the duplex suites on RCL. The Dream Class is plauged with over crowding issues as well. I just don't get CCL..with all their resources they always take the cheap way to get to the end. It's been a long time since CCL built anything genuinely exciting.

The rooms don't look nice, the layout is stupid, the decor is horrible! Have you actually ever been on a Carnival cruise, or do you just watch videos on Carnival and give your opinion. I have cruised with Carnival 4 times, RCL once, and DCL twice, and honestly I prefer Carnival. So stop commenting and giving your opinion, because honestly nobody cares.
I just went on this ship last week, man it was amazing though I didn't spend much time in the casino that's fine I don't gamble anyway. This was my first cruise and hopefully not my last I found it amazing, the ship was gorgeous very well appointed and the Carnival staff are very accommodating and will go out of their way to make sure you are having a great time :)

it was AMAZING!!! i'm 14 too! you will love it but you have to get into club 02. the ages are 15-17 but you have to sneak in anyway. just go through the back door by the arcade. at first i was stuck in circle c but i sneaked in and they caught me and i said i was almost 15 so they let me in. it was amazing. i met so many new friends and i am still in touch with them now.

I went with mt aunt and my 2 younger cousins theyre 11 and 8. So i was alone at first but i met a ton of people. we danced a bit. the youth directors were pretty chill and cool about things. they organized some things. youll get a guide for the week about activities but alot of the time nobody does it. but you have to be really open to people and just go up to people cuz really not many people know each other so its cool to just go up and introduce yourself. Youll have fun!
This cruise was BAD ASS! so many girls and so much fun to be had without ( but more importantly) with said girls! the food they serve is amazing and served 24/7 hours a day up on ledo deck. OMG this was my first cruise ever and i was AMAZING!!! I cant wait to go again next year!!!!!!
For those bitching about this dude, he's not really the spokesman but he's their #1 cruise director and very popular (some people wait to book their cruise until they know he's going to be the cruise director on a ship they want to go on), and he's been very involved in blogging and generally helpful to people about news from the cruise line.
That being said, they didn't seem to put much effort into the production of this video and the phillipino jibberish seemed a bit rude.
I just got in from a 7 day cruise on Oasis and let me tell you that ship is the best..I can judge by this video alone Carnvial failed miserably..The Solarium and Central Park make Oasis an instant winner!!Dont be cheap, go with Royal caribbean.

I've cruised with Carnival ten times . John was my favorite cruise director. He really has a great sense of humor. The spas on the side of the ship look wonderful. Can't wait to get in one.
How unfortunate for you. Having recently read where a family was held hostage on a Carnival ship for doing something that they proved they did not I would never endanger my family on such a dangerous company. John Heald is the absolute worst..crass, vulgar and a total amateur. This sort of bottom of the barrel entertainment needs to go..it has no place with a multi billion dollar corporation. We are actively pursuing finding a way of having John Heald removed.

I have sailed on two Carnival ships and have my 3rd booked in November. They are OK, but I don't think Dream will provide anywhere near the WOW factor that oasis of the sea will. Carnival is falling behind as far as design and innovation goes.
I agree...there hasn't been enough evolution within Carnival. They've relied too heavily on their past successes and have used that time and again. There is no longer a "WOW" factor with Carnival anymore..too much hype from the PR Dept and the likes of Mr. Heald. The product has gotten so stale it no longer generates anymore excitement on its own.

Nah it isnt horrible in itself, when I said that I was referring to the exterior and design only. Sorry you couldn't know that. But the facilities seems very amazing on the Oasis but the design of the entire ship and the open/outdoor space isnt a favorite at all. My number 1 favorite is still Mariner of the Seas followed by Radiance Class ships. :P
Yeah then you are SUPER lucky and got me all jealous :P I love her. She was built with the greatest eye of details. Its structural lines are perfect. And it's "eagle" features looks very good on her. Hense the project name they creaded for Voyager Class "Project Eagle"

Exactly..this is total bull and John knows it. He's being instructed to pass the company line along. There is no way with any measured consistency you can keep non smoking areas clear of cancer causing cigarette smoke. John is full of it..and this memorized performance is an insult to Carnival's customers. The more I hear this crap out of John's mouth the more I prefer Carnival's competition and discourage everyone I know to avoid Carnival at all costs.
A quick comment on the smoking issue, I am a non smoker, but I have no issues with people that do. If I can't handle the smell, I just go to where there is no smoke. I know that a lot of non smokers complain about smokers, but at the end of the day we all have our vices. I have heard people complain about a heavy person having body odor. Get real people, if thats all you have to complain about, you have to much time on your hands. carnival should stay the same and stay out of the politics of it.
Being an ex smoker I have been on both sides. The thing I'm getting really tired of is listening to both side cry about it. If you don't like the smoke then get out of the smoking areas and if you want a smoke go to the smoking area. It is what it is and I wish people would stop trying to make EVERYTHING! their way. We need to share people!
It's nice to see that there's no smoking in some spots of the casino area because on our last cruise Princess you couldn't even see plp it was so cloudy and worst of all you CANT breath! So Im happy that Carnival has this rule on there ship.

I about passed out from smelling so much smokeing on the Carnival Sensation I am 15 but still! I went to sit down before we left the Ship in Port Canaveral and we sat down in the piano bar it smelled so bad like smokes my nose felt so horible for hours and I was sick that morning too not good on the last morning on your ship! Btw I still Love Carnival The Fun Ships!

I just went on this ship last week, man it was amazing though I didn't spend much time in the casino that's fine I don't gamble anyway. This was my first cruise and hopefully not my last I found it amazing, the ship was gorgeous very well appointed and the Carnival staff are very accommodating and will go out of their way to make sure you are having a great time :)

Mr.A obviously has not seen him in action or I am sure he would have been shown where the Crew Gangway was. Awful. This man would not inspire you to take a Cruise With Carnival. Before you all jump in for your Two Pennies Worth I worked for Carnival Corp for a Long time. The Legend is my favorite ship. I think it's beautiful. I've been on it twice and am looking forward to crusing on it again. Homer, you must be a Royal Caribbean plant or a disgruntled fired employee of Carnival. Your statements are ridiculous.

I've cruised with Carnival ten times . John was my favorite cruise director. He really has a great sense of humor. The spas on the side of the ship look wonderful. Can't wait to get in one.

How unfortunate for you. Having recently read where a family was held hostage on a Carnival ship for doing something that they proved they did not I would never endanger my family on such a dangerous company. John Heald is the absolute worst..crass, vulgar and a total amateur. This sort of bottom of the barrel entertainment needs to go..it has no place with a multi billion dollar corporation. We are actively pursuing finding a way of having John Heald removed.

in a short video he manages to joke about vomitting, hitting his bollocks, passing wind in the jacuzzi and who knows what else .Glad to see they put him in charge of entertainment on a ship that cost nearly 1 billion dollars to build. I'm sure the owners feel really good about it.

I have sailed on two Carnival ships and have my 3rd booked in November. They are OK, but I don't think Dream will provide anywhere near the WOW factor that oasis of the sea will. Carnival is falling behind as far as design and innovation goes.

I agree...there hasn't been enough evolution within Carnival. They've relied too heavily on their past successes and have used that time and again. There is no longer a "WOW" factor with Carnival anymore..too much hype from the PR Dept and the likes of Mr. Heald. The product has gotten so stale it no longer generates anymore excitement on its own.

What an amazing tour. She really is one of a kind that ship, now RCCL has a TRUE competitor, up until Oasis Class is delivered that is. But honestly. Oasis Class is horrible lol

Nah it isnt horrible in itself, when I said that I was referring to the exterior and design only. Sorry you couldn't know that. But the facilities seems very amazing on the Oasis but the design of the entire ship and the open/outdoor space isnt a favorite at all. My number 1 favorite is still Mariner of the Seas followed by Radiance Class ships. :P

Yeah then you are SUPER lucky and got me all jealous :P I love her. She was built with the greatest eye of details. Its structural lines are perfect. And it's "eagle" features looks very good on her. Hense the project name they creaded for Voyager Class "Project Eagle"

I never went on Mariner. I live in Sweden but RCCL is making many cruises from here now so we got Vision of the Seas atm and that's the one I went on last July.
Next november it will be Voyager of the Seas

Exactly..this is total bull and John knows it. He's being instructed to pass the company line along. There is no way with any measured consistency you can keep non smoking areas clear of cancer causing cigarette smoke. John is full of it..and this memorized performance is an insult to Carnival's customers. The more I hear this crap out of John's mouth the more I prefer Carnival's competition and discourage everyone I know to avoid Carnival at all costs.

A quick comment on the smoking issue, I am a non smoker, but I have no issues with people that do. If I can't handle the smell, I just go to where there is no smoke. I know that a lot of non smokers complain about smokers, but at the end of the day we all have our vices. I have heard people complain about a heavy person having body odor. Get real people, if thats all you have to complain about, you have to much time on your hands. carnival should stay the same and stay out of the politics of it.

Being an ex smoker I have been on both sides. The thing I'm getting really tired of is listening to both side cry about it. If you don't like the smoke then get out of the smoking areas and if you want a smoke go to the smoking area. It is what it is and I wish people would stop trying to make EVERYTHING! their way. We need to share people!

It's nice to see that there's no smoking in some spots of the casino area because on our last cruise Princess you couldn't even see plp it was so cloudy and worst of all you CANT breath! So Im happy that Carnival has this rule on there ship.

I about passed out from smelling so much smokeing on the Carnival Sensation I am 15 but still! I went to sit down before we left the Ship in Port Canaveral and we sat down in the piano bar it smelled so bad like smokes my nose felt so horible for hours and I was sick that morning too not good on the last morning on your ship! Btw I still Love Carnival The Fun Ships!
